Three months is such a sweet spot for photos. 🤍

Baby is still wonderfully little and squishy, but now they’re awake more, making eye contact, giving us those sweet smiles, and letting a little more of their personality shine through. They’re changing so quickly, and this stage is one you’ll want to remember exactly as it is.

And if you missed the newborn session? It’s not too late. Your baby may not be a fresh little newborn anymore, but those early months are still fleeting and incredibly worth documenting. You’ll still get those tiny details, those sweet expressions, that squishiness and sweetness that you’ll look back on years from now and treasure.

There’s no “perfect” time to photograph your baby. There’s simply this moment, and it’s worth remembering.

There is something so incredibly special about welcoming a new baby into a big family. 🤍 Watching each sibling find their place, seeing the pride in their eyes, the excitement, the curiosity, and all of those little in-between moments is exactly why I love the family images from my newborn sessions.

These are the moments I want families to remember…the way tiny hands reached for baby, the cuddles with Mom and Dad, the giggles between siblings, and the love that fills every corner of the house with just the right amount of chaos.

As a mom of four kids close in age, I know firsthand that life with a bigger family is busy. It rarely looks perfectly posed, and honestly, that’s where the magic is. I’m completely at home in the beautiful chaos. I know how to keep sessions relaxed, connect with little ones, and embrace the real moments that tell your family’s story. 💕

Those tiny details change so much faster than we realize. The wispy eyelashes, the soft cheeks, the little fingers and toes...and those sweet newborn side rolls that disappear before you know it! These are the details you’ll want to remember years from now.

Every baby who comes into my studio is gently and comfortably posed with their safety and comfort as my top priority. I never rush through a session. Instead, I allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and settling so we can create beautiful images while capturing all of those fleeting little details you’ll treasure forever. These first days are gone in the blink of an eye, but the memories don’t have to be.

I’m currently reserving newborn sessions into 2027. If you’re expecting, reach out to reserve your studio (or lifestyle) session before my calendar fills. It breaks my heart when I have to put clients in a newborn session waitlist because I know how small the window is before your baby doesn’t look quite so much like a newborn, and I truly want everyone to have the opportunity to save those memories forever!

This sweet family showed up on one of the hottest evenings of the summer, and despite the heat, they never stopped laughing, playing, and loving on each other. Mom and Dad fully embraced the moment—chasing little feet, sharing hugs, and making their boys giggle every chance they got. Those are always the sessions that create the most meaningful images.

When you reserve a family session with me, my goal isn’t just to give you beautiful photos. I want your children to leave saying they had fun. I want you to spend an hour slowing down, playing together, and making memories that feel just as special as the images you’ll hang on your walls.

I pay attention to every little detail before, during, and after your session so you don’t have to. I’ll help with planning, gently guide you every step of the way, and happily be the silly grown-up if it means getting genuine smiles and real connection.

One whole year. 🤍 Your baby’s first birthday is so much more than a celebration. It’s the beautiful finish to an incredible first year of growth, change, and countless milestones. From those tiny newborn features to the big smiles, curious eyes, and joyful personality that shine through at one year old, so much changes in just 12 months.

A first birthday session is the perfect way to document who they are in this season. Their giggles, wobbly steps, silly expressions, and the little details you’ll want to remember long after they have outgrown this stage. It’s a milestone that deserves to be celebrated, remembered, and cherished for years to come.

But also imagine looking back years from now and seeing not only who your children were as individuals, but the also way they fit together through a connection that only siblings can share. One of my favorite parts of a newborn session is creating beautiful prop portraits. Whether baby is nestled into a cozy bowl or resting peacefully in a tiny newborn bed, these images add so much softness and variety to your gallery.
