Happy One Year Adoptiversary Tiki man!!

You came into my life at a time when I didn’t feel ready…I was sure I’d feel guilty, like getting a new cat somehow meant I was moving on and forgetting about Charlie. Little did I know that your tiny little orange fluff was exactly what I needed and is actually keeping Charlie’s memory vividly alive. It’s scary how much your mannerisms, habits, and little quirks are so similar to Charlie’s….it’s still up in the air whether or not you actually are just Charlie reincarnate.

You literally make me laugh every day. Your puffy tail is what cat dreams are made of. Playing chase around the house with you is my favorite. Our morning routine is the best start to a day I could ask for. We just need to keep working on this whole aggressive attacking sour patch kid issue you’ve got going on buddy. We’ll get there my Tiki dude.

You know I couldn’t pick just 10 from Alex and Kyle’s wedding either, right? Come on, I’m the girl that packs 10 shirts and 5 pairs of shoes for a 2 day trip. 🤷‍♀️

Sneak peeks of two weddings in one day?? Crazy talk. I've been busting my butt over here trying to get pictures done for everybody and, while it is exhausting, I do have to admit that my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Alex and Kyle's Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay wedding had me smiling a ton as I got to relive so many great moments from the day. Even though the weather didn't exactly cooperate for about half of the day and had me stressing out on the inside, it was still gorgeous with an outdoor ceremony and some quick photos out on the pier. Oh, and Alex and Kyle's dog was the ring bearer, so yeah, automatically one of the best weddings ever.

10??!! I can only pick 10 from this gorrrrgeous wedding?! Pretty sure that’s extremely unfair. So guess what? I’ll just do two carousel posts. Take that Instagram.
But for real, Happy One Month (plus a day!) Anniversary to Camilla and Andrew! Their wedding day was a dream. From using Andrew’s parent’s horse farm as their venue, to the incredible florals and linens, and music from the amazing Big Ray and the Kool Katz….and can we talk about Camilla’s super cute and unique wedding dress?! I loved it all.

One thing I love about this whole photography thing is that, even after 12 years, I still get to photograph awesome couples in new-to-me places. I’ve been to a few new places recently, one of them being all the way up in Brooklyn! I had a blast with Alex and Kyle in their home city and am already ready for my next chance to go back (and eat more bagels and pizza 😉).
