I will truly never get over just how nervous I was walking into this styled shoot. I felt terrified and like an absolute fraud. I’d never met any of the photographers there and was sure I was out of my depth. I thought that I was insane for seeing this opportunity and just jumping in. It seems crazy to think that way now considering just how supportive everyone was and just how educational they experience was. I really couldn’t be more proud of how the photos from that day came out, mostly because of how naturally they happened. This day wasn't hard or difficult, but I spent my entire drive there telling myself it would be. Ultimately, I was wrong and stepping up and taking the opportunity I had in front of me was definitely the right choice.

At the height of quarantine I was doing a great job of reading more. I think at one point I was averaging two to three books a month. But as work has picked up again, I have admittedly started to slow down again. My TBR list is growing and I'm struggling to keep up! But I really can't say anything because the books I've read over the last few months have been some of my favorites ever. Have you guys been reading during quarantine? If so, what have you been loving? I might just had to add more books to my ever growing list!

Capturing photos of your details is SO important! Many times, brides spend just as much time on their invitations, jewelry, shoes, veil, and flowers, as they do on everything else. And then what? Are we just going to forget about them? Not at all! Making sure to get detail shots to remember and cherish every single aspect of your wedding, no matter how small, is an important part of telling your wedding story. Don't forget to set aside your details so they can be captured and held on to forever!

Shoutout to for this absolutely stunning heirloom album. I can’t wait to deliver it! In this age of social media, it’s easy to forget about printing your photos, but I absolutely love being able to hold my memories. I started out this period of self isolation feeling very energized and fueled with passion. As time has gone on, I've found it harder and harder to be creative. It's hard to keep up the same amount of energy when there isn't an opportunity to be out and about in the world. I've been consuming as much media as I can and attempting to collect inspiration, but I'd be lying if I said it was easy. I saw all of that to say that I'm trying my best to be kind to myself. I hope you all are too.

Quarantine season and the shelter in place orders for Kentucky and Ohio have meant that we haven’t seen these beautiful humans in a hot minute. Thankfully, technology means that I’m getting frequent Snapchats of the babies in their element and that we’re FaceTiming regularly. I’m so grateful that, while we can’t spend time together in person, technology and the internet have made it possible for us to stay connected.
