Some sessions just remind you that the weather doesn't get to decide the joy. 🤍

The skies were dark, the forecast wasn't exactly on our side, and we kept waiting for the rain to start... but somehow, Kelsey and Brandon brought all the sunshine we needed.

There was so much laughter, so many quiet smiles, and the sweetest kind of excitement that comes from knowing you're only weeks away from saying "I do."

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to slow down before the busyness of a wedding day. It's a chance to simply celebrate this season—to remember that before the timeline, the flowers, and all the details... there were just two people that God brought together.

Watching the way Brandon looks at Kelsey and the joy they share together makes me even more excited for what's waiting for them next month.

I truly cannot wait to celebrate these two and capture the beginning of their marriage. 🤍

Sometimes the best love stories take a little longer to write... but they're worth every page. 🤍

Saturday was one of those wedding days that reminded me that God's timing is always so much sweeter than our own.

Elizabeth and Michael waited a long time to find each other, and when they finally did... you could feel just how grateful they were. Every smile, every happy tear, every glance across the room carried the joy of two people who knew exactly what they had been waiting for.

There were so many moments that made this day unforgettable. 🥹

From the beautiful way Elizabeth honored her dad throughout the day... to the excitement of their first touch before the ceremony... to the absolute celebration that followed when they finally became husband and wife.

And then came one of my favorite surprises... 🚒
Michael is a firefighter, and Elizabeth secretly arranged for his fire truck to be brought over for portraits! His reaction was priceless, and it made for such a fun, personal part of their day.

Oh... and the rain? ☔️
It showed up, but it definitely didn't steal the celebration. If anything, it slowed everyone down just enough to soak in every moment. We embraced it, laughed through it, and created some beautiful memories because of it.

Elizabeth & Michael... thank you for trusting me to tell your story. Your wedding was filled with so much laughter, so much love, and the kind of joy that reminds us that some things are absolutely worth waiting for.

There are moments in this job that remind me just how beautiful it is to witness God's faithfulness unfold.

Last year, I stood behind my camera as Morganne and Kyle promised forever to one another. They even share my wedding anniversary, which has always made their story feel a little extra special to me.

This week, I had the incredible honor of photographing another chapter of that same story.

As we walked along the beach with the waves quietly rolling in and the most beautiful evening light surrounding us, I couldn't help but think about how gracious God is. The same hands that joined them together in marriage are now knitting together the sweetest little life.

What a privilege it is to watch love grow.
Morganne and Kyle, thank you for trusting me to document another milestone in your journey. Your joy is contagious, your love is steadfast, and this little one is already so deeply loved.

I truly believe children are one of God's greatest reminders that He is always writing a story bigger than the one we can see. I cannot wait to watch yours continue.

From the moment I arrived at Blumen Gardens, there was a quiet calm that settled over the entire day. Between the gentle breeze through the willow trees, the stillness of the gardens, and the anticipation of what was to come, it felt like the world slowed down just long enough for Rachael and Sam to soak it all in.

Their first look was one of my favorite moments. They exchanged private vows, and there wasn't a dry eye around. It wasn't rushed or performative—it was simply two people choosing each other, away from the crowd, before the celebration began.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was watching Sam's dad stand at the front of the ceremony and officiate their marriage. There is something incredibly special about being pronounced husband and wife by someone who has loved and prayed for you your entire life. It made an already beautiful ceremony feel even more personal.

Rachael and Sam, thank you for inviting me into such a sacred day. Your wedding was filled with quiet moments, joyful laughter, and so much genuine love. It was an honor to tell your story, and I pray these images always bring you back to exactly how it felt. 🤍

There is something so special about getting to photograph the people who have been part of your story for years. 🤍
I've known Jasmine since we were teenagers, so watching her life unfold has been such a gift. From the girl I knew all those years ago to the incredible wife and mama she is today... what a beautiful journey it's been.

This session was extra special because it celebrated their newest little blessing and the beginning of life as a family of FOUR. 🥹
Big brother absolutely stole my heart. From his huge smiles and endless energy to the sweetest moments of curiosity with his new baby sibling, you can already see the incredible bond that's growing between them. And those quiet moments of mom and dad simply soaking it all in... those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do.

It's such an honor to preserve these fleeting seasons because babies don't stay little, toddlers don't stay this adventurous, and before you know it, this chapter becomes a memory.

Garner family, thank you for trusting me to capture this beautiful new season. It was such a joy to celebrate your growing family, and I can't wait to watch these two little ones grow together. 🤍✨

Some wedding days just feel like one big celebration from beginning to end... and Amanda & Tyler's day at Sonny Acres Farm was exactly that. 🤍
Even with the haze from the Canadian wildfires and the summer heat, nothing could take away from the joy that surrounded these two.

Their first look was one of my favorite moments of the day. It was sweet, emotional, and the perfect reminder that sometimes the quiet moments become the ones you'll remember forever.
From there, the celebration only got bigger.

Their ceremony beneath the willow trees was absolutely beautiful, Harley stole hearts as the cutest four-legged guest, and if you've ever wondered what happens when an NHL player gets married with a bridal party full of hockey players... well... let's just say they know how to celebrate. 😂

The dance floor never slowed down. Every song somehow had MORE people on it than the last, and the energy was contagious from the very first dance all the way until the final song. By the end of the night, everyone was drenched in sweat, singing at the top of their lungs, and making memories they'll be talking about for years.

Amanda & Tyler, thank you for trusting me to capture such an unforgettable day. Your love for each other is so genuine, your people adore you, and it was such an honor to witness the beginning of this next chapter.

From the moment the bridesmaids walked alongside Gia under the trees at Allure on the Lake, to Austin's face every single time he looked at his bride (seriously... it never got old 🥹), this entire day was overflowing with happiness.

Their wedding was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and so much fun. Classic black and white details, the prettiest pops of pink, a breathtaking lakeside backdrop, and a dance floor that stayed packed from the very first song until the very last. 💃🕺
One of my favorite parts of the day was sneaking away for bride and groom portraits. We laughed the entire time, and the joy between these two was so genuine and contagious. Those are always my favorite moments—the ones where couples can simply slow down, be together, and soak in the fact that they're finally husband and wife.

Gia & Austin, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. Your wedding was beautiful, but what I'll remember most is how happy it felt. Wishing you a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and looking at each other the same way you did all day Saturday. 🤍✨

When Kaleb's mom reached out to ask me to photograph his senior session, I couldn't have been more excited. It's such an incredible honor when families trust me to capture these milestone moments.

For Kaleb, baseball has been so much more than just a sport. Countless practices, games, long evenings at the field, and years of hard work have all led to this season. As a pitcher, he's learned dedication, discipline, perseverance, and what it means to keep showing up—even when it's hard.

I loved incorporating so many pieces of his story into this session... from Portage High School to the baseball field he's spent so many hours on, and even the baseball marked "2026" to celebrate the year this chapter comes to a close.

Congratulations, Kaleb! 🎓⚾ I have no doubt God has amazing things ahead for you, and I can't wait to see where life takes you next.

Some wedding days are remembered for perfect weather… and some are remembered because the joy was so contagious that the weather didn’t stand a chance. 🤍

Yesterday was one of those days.

Yes, it was hot. Yes, it was muggy. But Ashley & Joel never let it steal a single moment from their celebration. They embraced every second, trusted the process, and together we created some absolute MAGIC. ✨

From the breathtaking pastel florals that looked like they belonged in a fairytale, to the sweetest moments exchanged between the two of them, every detail reflected who they are. And then there was their bridal party… 😂 They kept us laughing all day long and definitely made sure the dance floor stayed anything but boring. I have a feeling those reception stories will be told for years to come!

Ashley & Joel, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such an incredible day. It was an honor to capture the beginning of this next chapter together. I pray your marriage is filled with as much laughter, joy, and unwavering love as your wedding day was.
