I started baking with my daughter alongside me when she was about 18 months old.
It became a thing we did for the holidays,
Even when all she was ready to do was cut dough and decorate.
She became the neighborhood “Cookie Fairy” and would deliver cookies to the neighbors with her glitter shoes and fairy wings.
She became more involved with the process as she got older.
And last weekend, when she was home from college for the weekend, she asked if we could bake cookies. 💕
