It's Thursday and time for the 20th weekly installment of "Did You Know? 250 Years, Celebrating One Community", enjoy.
Thanks to the awesomeness of the internet I was able to schedule this to post even as I am enjoying a visit to the Outer Banks.
As the United States gears up for its Semiquincentennial – the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 – the Crouse Community History & Photo Project is proud to announce the launch of its "Did You Know?" program. This engaging weekly initiative will spotlight fascinating historical events, figures, and milestones from the Crouse community's rich 250+ year history, drawing from a vast archive of information and photographs collected over the past 13 years. Designed to educate, inspire, and unite residents, the program invites everyone in Lincoln County and beyond to rediscover the local roots that intertwine with the nation's founding story.
