Just thought I would share this with all of you. From the art instructor at Pequot Lakes High School… Todd Knutson…

“We hired Mark as the Keynote speaker for a regional high school art competition. Mark’s work and stories about how he achieved many of his photos completely captivated the student artists. In a room of roughly 125 high school art students, you could hear a pin drop during Marks’ presentation. Mark was able to spark a genuine interest in the students, and helped them see photography as a true artform. Mark's stories also helped students understand just what it takes to obtain great photos. We actually ran over the allotted time because of the number of questions students had at the end of his presentation. I would not hesitate to bring him back, and definitely give Mark Harlow a 5-star rating!”

Will let everyone know when it airs. I also hope to get the video to post here as well.

Happy Earth Day! It was 11? years ago today, I had the good fortune to see and photograph 5… yes 5 different snowy owls in one day! There was remnant snow around as well. Here is one of my all time favorite and unique snowy owl pictures I’ve ever taken, named “Post 180”…The owl’s head is rotated 180 degrees, hence the title name.
