Had the chance to photograph a really special evening at our Cathedral as we hosted the Pope Benedict XVI Traveling Monstrance for Vocations and Healing, thanks to the Serra Club.

So thankful for our church community and to be part of a parish that creates time for such peace and prayer.

This session was such a joy. We spent the evening out in the country, surrounded by tall grass and the warm glow of golden hour. The boys were silly, there was so much laughter, and I loved seeing the way parents and grandparents lit up watching their kids.⁠

Sessions like this remind me why I love photography so deeply. It’s never just about the photos. It’s about freezing the joy, the connections, and the love between generations so that years from now, families can look back and remember what this felt like.⁠

I’m so thankful for opportunities like this - to meet incredible people in our diocese, hear their stories, and share them through my photography. It’s one of my favorite ways to live out my faith and see God’s love in action.

Small groups gather in many different forms throughout the Diocese of Crookston. They can support men, women, youth, married couples and families.

Some follow a structure, others are more fluid in what they focus on; some have standards members set and hold each other accountable to.

One thing they have in common is the power to help people grow in holiness, build relationships, deepen their prayer and learn to share Christ with others.

I spent a beautiful evening with my sweet friend Heidi and her extended family in Crookston a few weeks ago — parents, siblings, cousins, and grandparents all together. It was such a fun session, and a great reminder of how special it is to gather everyone in one place to create memories.

One of the things I enjoy most about photographing families is capturing the real connections — the smiles, the quiet moments, and the love that ties everyone together. My style is natural and relaxed, letting each person feel like themselves while I document the moments that matter.

The kids were incredibly well-behaved, the light was perfect, and the night couldn’t have gone smoother. Grateful to be invited into these kinds of moments.

Still smiling thinking about this session with my dear friend Carrie and her amazing kids last year. We spent a warm fall evening in Crookston together filled with golden light and lots of laughter.⁠

What struck me most was the way Carrie loves her children - with such tenderness and fierce devotion. She is truly a mama bear: strong, steady, and full of heart.⁠

Warm, thoughtful, and genuinely friendly — Bucky made such a great impression during his senior session. He showed up with an easy smile, a kind heart, and we spent far too much time talking about my family and how my husband was doing (they go way back to Bantam hockey). That kind of conversation says a lot about a kid.⁠

I loved how he made his session personal — from including his love for soccer and fishing to launching the boat and cruising the river, it was such a fun and memorable evening.⁠

Spring sessions like this one make my heart so full. I had the joy of photographing this beautiful family at Orchard Glen Park in Fargo during golden hour—just as the blooming trees lit up with soft white blossoms.⁠

Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Isidore, the patron saint of farmers.⁠

Despite his humble origins, he became renowned for his piety and miraculous deeds, often witnessed by fellow laborers and even angels. St. Isidore reminds us of the vital role that farmers play in nurturing the earth and providing sustenance for communities. His legacy inspires us to appreciate and support those who work tirelessly to feed the world.⁠

I am filled with gratitude to have married into a farming family, where the values of hard work and devotion to the land are cherished and celebrated every day!

Booking senior sessions for the class of 2025! Let’s connect!

I realized earlier that I never posted any images from my session with Lucas, which has been one of my most favorite sessions. It’s hard to imagine he’s graduating high school at the end of the month. It seems like it was yesterday my husband was coaching him in hockey!

Summer gets busy and schedules fill up fast so reach out sooner rather than later and get on my books! I can’t wait to hear from you.

Winter weddings have my heart because I had one of my own and loved every minute. Yes, even standing in the cold for photos! Sophia and David braved what was quite possibly one of the coldest days we had in Minnesota this winter and still couldn't stop smiling.

Even more than that was their absolutely stunning Catholic ceremony in Sophia's childhood church. It was a stunning Christ-centered wedding ceremony, with David's uncle as the celebrant. There was so much beauty, reverence and love.

I feel so honored to have captured the beauty of this incredible sacrament.
