Not one single person's journey will be the same. We all take different paths and walks in life, and that is something that should be celebrated not criticized. I don't know when it became "cool" to have this mean girl energy, be overly competitive, and dismissive towards others. Want to know the truth? It's super gross behavior. It ain't cute, sis.
It makes me sick to see so many women tearing down others, judging their life choices, sneering, giving dirty looks, and straight up spreading hate. This world is filled with soooo much beauty, so much magic and whimsy, but it's filled with a lot of horrors and ugliness too. Being a hater, a mean girl, or a snake isn't cool and again it isn't cute.
If you see something online and comment a nasty thing, you're part of the problem. If you make a comment out loud directed at another female and snicker with your girlfriends, you're a mean girl and a bully. We don't know what is going on in another person's life. We don't know their pain or struggles. We don't know their walk in life because we only know our own. Let's not cast judgement, shame, or contribute to being an unkind individual. It's cool as hell to care and be kind. It's super on trend and will never go of style.
If you are scrolling, and you see a girlie post a cute selfie, tell her! If you see someone post their vacation, their accomplishment, or promotion congratulate them. If your barista's nails look gorgeous...tell her! If you're out shopping and think to yourself, wow, what beautiful hair she has....tell her!
Not every women chooses the same journey and how beautiful is that? We get to see our friends be boss ladies and climb the ladder. We get to see some them get engaged and married. We get to see them buy their first big girl car and be happy for them. We get to see some choose to be solo and travel the world. Some women choose to have children, some choose not to have any. And that is their choice, their journey, their life. It's not our job to cast judgement about what they choose to do; it's their own. Read that again.
It all boils down to choices and decisions. You can choose to be an as***le or you can choose to be kind. You can choose to tear down others or you can choose to be uplifting. You can decide to judge someone, or you can sympathize and empathize with how hard life can be. You can choose to smile, or you can choose to sneer and contort your face into expressions that are ugly. That's your decision. Make it a good one. Your heart and character are what matters. Not your bank account, not the car you drive, not the size of your house. Your job doesn't determine how good of a person you are, your actions, your behavior, the way you act when no one is watching. It all boils down to choices and decisions.
If a woman chooses to breastfeed, it's her choice NOT yours. If she chooses to pump, it's HER decision not yours. If she chooses to bottle feed, that's her choice...not YOURS! Keep your gross comments to yourself, and do some deep self-reflection if you have negative thoughts about women making their own choices about their own lives. Therapy is a great tool and it's never to late to start.
If someone is set on breastfeeding, why is it okay to just tell her to feed her baby a different way? Let's break it down....it's not. End of story. Your life is in your control, everyone else's isn't. There's literally nothing to gain from being a mean girl.
If you see someone having a party, function, or event, and you decide to do one too, and then do yours the same weekend, just to spite that woman, you are apart of the problem. Icky girl energy!! If you see someone complete a goal, check something off their visions board, unlock a new achievement...cheer them on.
Support your friends' businesses, their ideas and dreams. It's so easy. It's SO easy to cheer them on. It takes way more energy to do the opposite. Support women making hard choices and changes. Don't wish or wait for them to fall or fail. And if they do, be there for them, and uplift them. Don't comment shotty things on another girl's post, pictures, or life especially if you don't even know her. Don't sneer at another woman in public. If her kids are acting up, uh soooo what? Keep your stares to yourself.
If a woman is feeding her baby uncovered, while sitting in a comfy chair in menards, she isn't doing it so your husband stares at her, you weirdo. She's doing it because she's feeding her baby. What a wild concept! Want to know something really simple and amazing to do? Instead of contorting your face, you could smile at her. You could compliment her. I bet that would completely change her entire day.
Just was feel inspired today and having some thoughts. Let's stop the mean girl era...I think it's gone on long enough!! Stop being a hater, that's super gross. Spread love, light, and goodness. K, thanks! That's all...for now! 🤣 Byeeee!
