These were taken on my little Kodak EKTAR H35N half-frame camera, and they’re imperfect in all the ways I love grainy, soft, a little moody, and completely nostalgic.

The veil draped across the pews, the newlyweds disappearing into the shadows… it feels less like looking at a wedding photo and more like looking back at a memory.

And that’s exactly why I’ll always make room for film on wedding days. 🎞️

There’s something about a little white chapel, soft colors, and a wedding day full of those quiet in-between moments. 🤍

From everyone helping the bride get inside, to happy tears, little details, newlywed portraits, and sneaking away for a few moments together after saying “I do” these are the parts of wedding days I love getting to document.

And of course I had to sneak a little film into the mix because that veil + chapel light was begging for it. 🎞️

So grateful anytime I get to tag along and second shoot a beautiful day like this. 🤍

I’ve driven past this church more times than I can count, and every single time I caught myself thinking, “I would love to photograph a wedding there someday.”

This weekend, that little dream came true.

I had the opportunity to second shoot a beautiful wedding inside these walls, and getting to document such a meaningful day in a place I’ve admired for so long was incredibly special. First time shooting in this studio and I already know it won’t be the last. 🖤

The second I walked in, I knew I was going to love it. The dark walls, vintage furniture, warm wood tones, dramatic curtains, clawfoot tub, piano, moody little corners… there was something worth photographing everywhere I looked.

I’m always drawn to spaces that already have a personality of their own—the kind that don’t need much added because the atmosphere is already there. And this one? Absolutely delivered.

Getting to create somewhere new always gives my brain a little extra spark, and I had entirely too much fun figuring out how I wanted to use the light, furniture, textures, and all those gorgeous details throughout the room.

Safe to say, The Void understood the assignment. 🖤

I’m looking for one adventurous couple who wants to help bring an edgy, alternative-inspired elopement concept to life.

Think moody, rebellious, romantic, and unapologetically yourselves. Black attire, leather, lace, boots, dramatic florals, vintage vibes, or whatever feels authentic to your style.

🖤 Who I’m looking for:
• Couples of all backgrounds, identities, and love stories are welcome.
• Tattoos and piercings are highly encouraged but absolutely not required.
• You should be comfortable in front of the camera and excited to embrace the creative vision.

👰‍♀️ Wardrobe:
You must already own wedding attire (or alternative bridal attire) or be willing to purchase pieces that fit the session’s aesthetic. Wardrobe costs, if needed, are the responsibility of the selected couple.

📸 Investment:
The session itself is completely free in exchange for modeling and allowing me to use the images for my portfolio, website, and social media.

Because this one was absolutely unreal. From stolen kisses on the deck to soaking in those “we actually just got married” moments, this was the perfect way to end an incredible wedding day.
