One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch families grow.

I still remember capturing this family’s very first pregnancy announcement, dreaming alongside them about the baby who would soon make them parents. When I met with them for family photos last fall, little did I know they were expecting this sweet little blessing, Madden. 🤎

These are the moments I treasure most—the quiet seasons in between, the growing families, and the stories that continue to unfold year after year.

This morning’s storms left behind more than downed trees and flooded roads. For so many farm families, they left fields damaged, crops destroyed, and months of hard work washed away in a matter of minutes.

As a farmer’s wife, I know the long days, late nights, missed dinners, and countless hours spent in the field. I know the prayers planted alongside every seed and the hope that comes with watching a crop grow. To see that threatened or lost is a heartbreak that is difficult to put into words.

Today, I’m asking you to join me in praying for our farmers.

Pray for the families facing uncertainty.
Pray for strength when the road ahead feels overwhelming.
Pray for peace in the midst of disappointment.
Pray for protection over what remains.
And pray that God would provide in ways only He can.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Moments like these remind us how connected our small communities truly are. Now more than ever, your support matters. Support your local farmers. Support your neighbors. Support the small businesses that help keep our rural communities thriving.

As a small business owner myself, I know every booking, every referral, every kind word, and every share makes a difference. Supporting local businesses is one tangible way we can continue lifting up the families and communities that make places like ours so special.

This morning is a reminder that so much in life can change in an instant. While many things are temporary, the memories we make with the people we love are priceless. That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do—photographs allow us to hold onto those moments forever—to remember the little hands, the laughter, the embraces, and the seasons that shaped our story. They become a legacy for our children and a tangible reminder of the blessings God has given us, even in difficult times.

Please keep our farmers in your prayers today. 🤍🙏🏻

POV: your family photos look like artwork 🤍

My favorite sessions are the ones that capture the essence of slowing down and simply being present—and this sweet session was just that.

You can tell these adorable little boys spend a lot of time outdoors. They fearlessly explored, caught dragonflies, picked flowers for their beautiful mama (not even staged), and we still managed to sneak in some smiles.

What beautiful memories this sweet family will have to look back on for years to come. Thank you, Lank family, for trusting me to document this season for you!

Some sessions are extra special, and this one was exactly that.

Celebrating Laynie and Sayer as they step into two beautiful new chapters at once—engagement and parenthood. Watching their excitement, love, and anticipation for all that’s ahead was such a joy to capture.

There are so many blessings in store for these two, and I feel incredibly blessed to be the one trusted to preserve these moments along the way.

Congratulations, Laynie and Sayer! Your greatest adventures are just beginning. 🤍

The best locations aren’t always the ones everyone knows about. Sometimes they’re tucked away in our own backyards and in the places that hold the most meaning.

For Beau & Kara, this beautiful family farm near Shannon City was more than just a backdrop. It was a place filled with familiarity, history, and the kind of beauty that can’t be replicated anywhere else—the perfect place to document the beginning of their story.

It was such an honor to be the one to capture this season for my brother-in-law and future sister-in-law, and I already can’t wait to return here next year to witness the day they say “I do.” 🤍

A sweet evening with Hannah and Logan at Hannah’s grandma’s home.

The place where so many memories were made became the backdrop for the beginning of their next chapter together, and it couldn’t have felt more meaningful. Simple, sentimental, and full of love — my favorite kind of session.

There’s just something about a sweet simple barefoot session.

If you’re dreaming of something natural, unhurried, and rooted in connection—this is it.

The days are full, my hands are fuller, but so is my heart.

This summer, I have made the decision to step back from a full schedule to slow down and be more present for the moments at home with my own family.

Because of that, I’ll have limited availability this summer and into fall. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session — especially fall family photos — I encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later to get on my calendar. Once my schedule is full, I’ll also be starting a waitlist in case any openings become available.

I’m so grateful for each family that trusts me to document your season of life, and I truly can’t wait to capture these memories for you.

With love and gratitude,
Chloe 🤍

Some babies are prayed for long before they’re ever placed in our arms… and sweet Eleanor is one of them. 🕊️

It feels extra special getting to capture these first moments of a little girl who is already such a treasured part of the family. 🤍
