Ginger Snapps Photography is a family owned business that got started because I LOVE taking pictures (especially of my adorable red-headed kiddos). My goal is always to sneak in and get those honest moments - a smile, a glance between sweethearts, a child's innocent discovery (or mischievous plot - if you know my kids!). I try to let moments happen naturally, without the forced "tilt your head, ch

in up" posing that cookie-cutter portrait studios do. Outdoors is where I enjoy shooting the most, but am up for almost anything! **I am proud to announce that I have a studio in downtown Crestline. Having a newborn is such a special time. The nights are long. There is so much to learn and take in. The moments are so precious. Nothing changes your life the way a brand-new baby does. Thank you Sarah and Tom for letting me be a part of this new adventure.

Happy Friday Friends!

It has been a minute since I have been active here. This year has gotten off to an incredible start, which may be a confusing statement considering what comes next.

With sadness, I wanted to share that I will be closing my studio location effective Jan 31st. Life has presented us with a really amazing opportunity and sadly I just cannot keep trying to do it all.
I am not closing my business. Ginger Snapps will still exist. Weddings that have been booked are just that - booked. I will continue to manage print orders.
This will mean that I no longer have an indoor location for photos. I will be "on location" only.
This may seem shocking to some, but I promise in the near future things will all make better sense.
I just wanted to take time to say "thank you" for supporting Ginger Snapps thus far. I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people and make some wonderful memories. I have loved being able to set up shop in our little hometown. It has been an incredible opportunity and one that has taught me so much.

It's not goodbye, it's just see you later.

It is Senior Saturday time!! YAY!! This is actually my last Senior of the season.

Meet Bryce! He is attending Pioneer via Crestline working on his industrial diesel certification. When he isn't at school or at work, you can find him in the woods. 🦌

It was a beautiful, hazy fall morning when I met up with Bryce and his parents. He had the perfect places in mind and went along with my ideas. (I love that!)

Senior SUNDAY!!

It's not every day that I tiptoe in a creek inhabited by a sword-wielding lady, run out into traffic, and stand on trash cans, BUT when I do, I know it will be a GREAT day!

Bela took me to some cool places (and some sketchy places) - all definitely worth it.
She is headed to Eastern Michigan to study nursing, on her way to becoming a psychiatric nurse.

Give this lady some love!! Thanks so much Bela for letting me a part of your senior year.
