Earth Day seems like a fitting day to share these photos. Easily one of my favorite sessions since being in Crested Butte. These are some sweet people.

Two different family sessions that we combined into one big off-reading adventure. These families are best friends, and I have been lucky to know them since moving to CB.
We got to scope out the best spots and take the OHVs up to them. It was so fun. The colors were firing off during this session. Fall is beautiful.

I was so impressed with the little ones, being extra good sports for these photos. Slide 7 of miss Kallie is my favorite. What a vibe 😎

And look at this place we live!!! It’s magic.

It seemed that a lot of my sessions this fall lined up with incoming rainstorms, but on this night I didn’t mind because the lighting was so good 🌄🤓

Each family session is different. Each little family bringing their own story to share with me. It’s the best.
On this night, we chased the youngest member of the crew to the river to throw rocks and watched him giggle as his big sis spun him around. The stormy sunset from the bridge was beautiful to watch together. After we said our goodbyes and they walked away, that is one of my favorites (slide 9). The mountain was being a bit of a show off this evening, per usual 🏔️😌

Hoping to craft many more family stories this year ✨

Oh hi. This is the annual revival of the photo business instagram. After a long and strange ski season— I’M BACK 📷🤓

This wedding will always be one of the favorites. Taylor + Justin are adorable. Every person in their lives was sweet to be around. Their son was the star of the show at the ceremony. The venue was this unique property with quirky little rooms and buildings. The boys attacking the beer can was hilarious. The photo of the bouquet toss winner being so overjoyed. I just love getting to be the one that gets to document a day like this ❤️

This is the one and only wedding my best girl .oo helped me at.. she took the photo on slide 10, the b&w on slide 12, and the girls jumping for the bouquet on slide 16– and so many more. The last slide is from this day too, just us, so happy to be documenting this day together.

Three years ago we were having the time of our lives together at this wedding. I thought we’d be doing photos and skiing together the rest of our days after this, but that’s not what happened.
I sit with the grief from losing Ali each day. She shows up in rainbows and foxes, and all these other ways. Her big magic can’t fade from the lives she changed. I learned an appreciation for life from Ali that I carry with me through my art, and I know it has made me better at what I do. Miss you, love you, thinking of you 🍏

I still have a lot of photos from the fall that need a moment in the spotlight ✨
This sweet family was visiting Crested Butte from the Midwest. They were taking their little girl on a big camping adventure around Colorado— she’s a lucky lady getting to see all this before she’s even two!!

I haven’t posted in a bit because this time of year I am skiing my days away, but I’m looking forward to all the possibilities this year is bringing my way. Hoping to work with more families and couples and tell some more stories in 2026 😌

Reminiscing on the fall and how sweet it was.. This surprise engagement was one of my favorite moments I got to photograph this past season.

Good morning and happy Friday to all :)

Woke up to some fresh SNOW this morning which is making me feel so giddy about our upcoming ski season here in Crested Butte. If you didn’t know, I am also a ski instructor in the winter and it’s my favorite. ❄️🎿❤️

These photos are from February 2024, and this was my first session when I move to Crested Butte. Come a long way since then ✨

I only ever shared part 1 of these two, but now seems like a fitting day to share the rest. I can look at these photos and remember specifically how cold it was that night. We made it work, and we got some real cute photos too. Hoping for more snowy sessions in my future :)

This family was adorable. I had such a sweet time with them. The deer coming to say hi, and the perfectly lit aspen trees were such a wonderful touch. I loved wandering around with these three (or shall we say four? 🥰). Chasing a little one during photo sessions is always a joy. We got some awesome smiles from little miss.

I have been really enjoying incorporating the whole story during my sessions, as best I can. Trying to share memories of the views and the in-betweens as much as the expected portraits.

8 fall seasons of doing family sessions, and I love it more than ever. Passing along these memories makes me feel so gooood 🍁🍂❤️🧡💛

The Charles family ❤️

This family has been visiting Crested Butte for years. We even looked at photos during this session from when the kids were so tiny, playing in the exact same spot we took photos. The town I get to call home is a special place for so many. I love the stories I get to hear from all my clients. Always bonding over our shared love of this incredible little place

I can feel summer looking at these photos. The temps have gotten cooler and the leaves are all gone now. Personally, I am impatiently waiting for it to snow 🙏🏻🎿

Back in August I was asked to second shoot a wedding for :)
It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten to do wedding work so I was thrilled to have it work out. Sarah also let me take some of the photos I took so I could use them for my portfolio. Here’s the favorites from golden hour with this special couple. I am very thankful for this kind of generosity from a fellow photographer ✨💓

Annie and Daniel were so in love and their entire day was so sweet. These are just a glimpse into their love story that seems to be one for the ages.

Love you to the moon and to Saturn— more images from the Salt Flats in Utah 💫🪐🌙

I’ve gotten so many opportunities and so many adventures out of photography.

I majored in Biology/Environmental Science and thought that degree would lead me to playing outside for a job. Well, that didn’t work. Those jobs left me feeling drained and empty.
So I’ve tried a lot of things since using my degree— bartending, nannying, front desk at a yoga studio, hosting at a ranch, preschool teacher, ski instructing, and most importantly photography. I’ve been kind of living gig to gig since June 2021, and I actually like the variation and color it brings to my life. Even if it is unpredictable at times

I love that this side hustle allowed me to find my creative side. I see so much wonder + beauty in this messy world. I am thankful for the reconfiguration that taking photos has played on my mind. I work at being a light out here. Somedays it’s easier than others. But working with humans and making them feel beautiful is a big deal to me. Side hustle —> eventually full time is still the dream for me 📷

This has felt like a heavy week, so maybe go lift someone up
