Spotted in the wild by the lovely

Hello, it’s Danielle. At events, you’ll most likely find me with my Rollei around my neck, sneaking into crowds, searching for that balance between intentional moments and candids—ones that define your day and last a lifetime for you your families ♥️

Though I have been I’ve been quiet these last few months; I’m excited for some stunning events in 2026.

Offline means restorative, which is equally as important as being fully present at weddings. That time has been spent with our growing kids and our little farm here on the Western Slope plus a little bit of travel too!

J and J’s Steamboat wedding was 10+ years in the making, but the celebration was well worth the wait! It was a day rooted in family and deep ties to the mountain ranges that surrounded them.

The alpine glow perfectly balanced their delicate florals, and the sun peeking through the aspen trees was pure magic. Every season reminds me of why I do what I do, and documenting special family milestones like this never ceases to be an honor; I can’t wait to be back in Steamboat this summer!

When Amy and I both arrived at a retreat on the Western Slope a few years back, Rolleiflex cameras in hand, I knew we would be forever friends.

It was an instant, “Yes!” when she asked me to capture her wedding to Remi, which took place on the most magical October afternoon in Boulder. Amy’s dress brought so much life and movement to every moment, and they were surrounded by love and warmth from all their guests during their intimate backyard reception and farm-to-table dinner.

The beauty of their relationship sure was easy to document, and I look forward to visiting them in France, where Amy will be attending culinary school for the next few years. See you both soon!

I finished up my season in a very special way last October when I flew out to San Diego for Rebecca and Daniel’s intimate exchange of vows at one of the first synagogues in San Diego, now a museum.

The ocean air and rich succulents of Balboa Park were a captivating combination, and Rebecca’s stunning, 1940s-inspired tailored dress reminded me of an old Hollywood love story.

Their sweet elopement concluded with a candlelight dinner with all their nearest and dearest, the perfect cap to a day full of intention and meaning. It’s so special to be invited into a couple’s day, and this is one I’ll carry with me for a long time.
