The why behind my soul pet sessions is rooted in my own best friends.

I know how important it is to capture the little things - the way they look at you, the muddy paws after a good adventure, the way the water hits your skin when they wag their tail after a swim. Someday those tiny moments are the ones you’ll wish you could step back into. Photos are the closest thing we get.

They wanted to share vows in the meadow before spending their evening doing exactly what they would do any other night, kayaking with epic Mountain View’s, sharing a strawberry cake by a creek, and chasing the strawberry moon on their elopement night.

This day was so special to me 🫶

At the end of the day, my biggest goal is simple - I want photography to feel like the least stressful part of your elopement.

Sometimes maternity photos mean a big dress, a wide landscape, and dramatic lighting. In this case it meant cuddling on the couch, getting yelled at by their dog, and laughing about all the weird parts of pregnancy.

The day C + T got married, aka one of my favorite days ever.

I’ve been intentionally shooting fewer weddings as I pour my energy into other parts of my business, and up until this day, that decision felt really good. But standing in Georgia with these two, finally celebrating a love I met years ago, surrounded by their people, their family, their history… it hit me. This is why weddings matter so much to me.

Being trusted with a day like this is not something I’ll ever take lightly. The joy, the tears, the way families show up, the way love fills a space. My 2025 weddings were hands down my favorite I’ve ever shot. If every wedding felt like this one, I’d shoot weddings every Saturday forever.

I don’t think I’m done with weddings for good. Probably not. But days like this remind me how special they can be, and how lucky I am to be invited into them.

Carolina and Terrence, thank you for trusting me with your day. I’ll always be grateful I got to witness and document this chapter for you 🤍 I have about a million more photos from this day I want to share but for now, the ceremony of my dreams.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to grow with the people I photograph. Weddings turn into maternity sessions. Maternity turns into families. My returning client mini sessions exist for this exact reason - to keep honoring your story as it unfolds, without having to commit to a full hour session every time.
