For this shoot, the family originally planned to meet at a park, but as we talked more, staying on their own property made more sense- and I am so glad we did! The trees in Readington were bursting with fall color which Kanan took note of when choosing outfits. The peaceful surroundings and picturesque views, added something truly special to every shot.

I think the girls had lots of fun giggling and laughing in their own backyard, and of course their energy brought the photos to life in the best way! It’s always amazing to see families relax and just enjoy the moment together—it makes for the most authentic and heartfelt images. We were even surprised by a sudden passover of a hot air balloon! I know- only in NJ!

What happy news that this happy couple were going to be parents! I had wanted to have their pre-wedding shoot at the Holland Ridge Farm last time which didn't happen, so this time it was meant to be! Getting there early (8:30a) did not mean less crowds, but we made the best of it. Biju and Natisha obliged my requests again, no matter how silly, so I can get the shot. Those funny and intimate moments were my favorite!!

Thank you Biju and Natisha for allowing me to capture this next phase in your lives. We will have to come back with the baby and Kam soon!

These two love♥️birds celebrated their first anniversary yesterday! How time flies!

Let’s take a look back at some pics, taken before they said “I do” to each other! It was a warm, beautiful, pre-Covid, June day. I chose two spots on SI: Midland Beach and Silver Lake Park.

Since both enjoy Bollywood, I was so happy that the couple were such good sports, listening to my suggestions, no matter how cheesy they were. Their patience and love for the photographer shine through in these pics, right😝😝😝???

Though weather got in the way a few times before, this Sunday cooperated for us. We met at the beach as early as possible to avoid crowds, later at Silver Lake Park for these shots. Biju a native Staten Islander, his fiancé Tisha, a Long Islander took only a short time to ease in front of the camera. As I kept clicking, they became more natural, and the love they share more clear. All three of us had so many laughs throughout the shoot!

This happy couple will be tying the knot in September, and I wish them a fun-filled wedding day, and all the love and happiness as they start the journey of life together.

I knew when the date was booked for Puja's Mehendi/Sangeet that it will be a very colorful and fun event. And indeed it was! The bride-to-be looked absolutely beautiful in a pink and orange lehenga outfit, with a lot of mirror work on the choli. You will notice in many shots the mirror reflects light onto Puja's face.

There was non-stop dancing, music (folk songs sung by relatives), food, mehendi ( ) and most of all fun and many smiles! Traditions practiced for eons came to life towards the end for a Hindu pooja. You will see in the pics when the well wishers tie tasseled bangles on the bride-to-be's hands and she shook them over bachelors and bachelorettes. The broken tassels predict who will be the next to walk down the aisle! There were tears during the ceremony, where in India meant that the bride-to-be will soon be leaving her childhood home to join her husband's family in his town or village. All in all, the event was lively and cheerful!

The next day Puja looked absolutely stunning in her reception outfit, and the venue was arranged gorgeously with so many beautiful flower arrangements, etc. The new couple had two special drinks called "Mint to Be", and "Something Blue;" how cute! Again there was much dancing and non-stop energy at the reception. The desserts were mind-blowing, with so many varieties of sweets from India, and the regulars, including a station for bananas foster and other delicious treats!

held a fund raiser dance recital "Vande Mataram" on Mother's Day this year. The proceeds were donated to where they help many individuals gain education and independence here and in India with different programs. The dance students ranging from the little to college graduates, along with some of the students' mothers ALL did a great job! With this dance recital the students were taught lessons of discipline, team work and most of all kindness.

Here's a look at Amy Ann's Bridal Shower. The venue was colored in the bride-to-be's favorite purple. The bridal party took time with many of the details, making sure the purple was even in the popcorn! The desert table was eye-catching with sweet treats from . Shiney hand made the flowers on the backdrop, along with other personal touches by bridal party. Everyone had a wonderful time, playing games, enjoying the food and drinks at ! I was able to capture many smiles from the bride-to-be; but from behind the camera, I saw her smile change, become brighter, and warmer as her fiancé came walking through the door! I wish you both a wonderful and fun filled wedding day!

On June 24th, we celebrated Dolly Aunty's 70th birthday! Nice it was a surprise the venue was filled with about 240 folks waiting anxiously for the guest of honor to arrive. Many of the attendees were from afar, few were nursing school classmates, many family, many fellow church members, and many many friends. Her four children had a good guise so she was indeed surprised!! We all enjoyed being there for this special lady, with a sweet smile, which I had to coax out of her many times. There were some happy tears, many smiles, and even more hugs!! Here's a glimpse of that wonderful day. I could not include all the guests in this post, so check out the rest of the album here...
