Kimberly Chason Photos & Art Artist & Photographer Hello, welcome to my page. I am an artist and a self taught photographer located in North Florida. Thank you for visiting my page.

I am so captivated by the magnificent beauty and creations of God. I graduated from art school in Northern Kentucky, I moved to Sarasota Florida and became a graphic artist designing for 20 years. In 2008, I picked up my first digital camera and started photographing nature. I use Photoshop, textures, and various techniques to present artistic pieces. I also design logos and other print materials.

I also accept commissions for pastel pet portraits. I hope you enjoy my images and creations, digitally or by hand, images that would love to find a place on your wall at home or at your office. Of course none of this would be possible without God. He has blessed me with so much and in so many ways that all credit of my successes that I've had or the ones to come are all due to Him!

Finished! I've been enjoying burning on hats and such but this piece was so satisfying because of all the detail work that went into it. The tractor was a bit of a bo**er but I think I pulled it off. Phot reference was from my own, taken in 2013. It is 16"w x 11"h and 1" thick, bark on the top and bottom giving it the rustic look. It will be sealed with flat out flat, to keep it from becoming shiny. This piece will be available for purchase, please contact me if you're interested.

Challenge accepted! Richard's carving class sent home this 11x16 raw edge basswood and said "have your wife burn something on it!". I chose a photo of an old barn with a tractor that I took back in 2013. I modified the photo some in photoshop, then used a filter to make it look somewhat like a pencil drawing and a b&w. I'm very pleased with how it's turning out so far.

Handsome Versace is getting close to being finished. I have some tweaking to do on his one ear, finish blocking in on his neck and chest, finalizing the fine details on his fur. Last to be done is his long whiskers. He will be an 11x14 on Pastelmat.
