As a dad, I miss the days when my boys were little. That time goes by fast, and once it is gone, you really feel it.
For a long time, I kept looking for children’s books that felt gentle and wholesome, and honestly, I kept coming up short. I could not quite find what I was hoping for. That idea stayed with me for a long time, and eventually it turned into something I felt I needed to make myself.
My passion has always been photography, especially wildlife photography. I love being out in the woods, slowing down, watching animals, and admiring the quiet beauty of nature. I also really enjoy creating coloring books, and that love of nature and stillness naturally made its way into this project.
I have been working on this book for almost a year now, little by little, until it finally felt right.
Jamie and Alex and the Loch Ness Adventure is a calm story about two brothers, curiosity, and the mystery of Loch Ness. Each part of the story is paired with a large illustration designed for coloring with pencils, so kids can enjoy it at their own pace.
It is simple. It is calm. It is meant to be enjoyed slowly.

Alaska 2025. What an incredible trip.

I don’t think words will ever do this place justice, but I’ll try. Everywhere I turned, there was something that stopped me in my tracks. Towering mountains, endless water, skies that shifted every hour, and wildlife that reminded me how small we really are.

This trip was more than sightseeing. It was a chance to slow down, breathe in the crisp air, and feel connected to something bigger. Every moment felt like a gift. Every photo I took was my way of trying to hold onto the magic a little longer.

I’m sharing a lot of pictures here, not to show off, but so you can enjoy the beauty right along with me. If you’ve ever thought about visiting Alaska, let these photos be your nudge. It’s a place that changes you.
