I was nervous. I was awkward. I went anyway.

LinkedIn’s CMO said it straight: creators are essential to the platform — and they’re actively helping them connect with brands and make money. If you’re a creator sleeping on LinkedIn, wake up.

stop posting your finished videos and start posting you making them. your cinematic work is impressive… but it’s not what gets you clients. fr the behind the scenes, the process, the talking through it — that’s what makes people remember you. more content = more chances to be found.

Stop hiring videographers based on gear. Start hiring based on strategy 🎯

3 things to look for before you book:

Do they ask about your goals BEFORE filming?
Can they repurpose one shoot into multiple pieces of content?
Do they communicate clearly — deadlines, feedback, revisions?

Beautiful video that doesn’t convert is just expensive decoration.
Don’t ask for a portfolio. Ask for a plan.
