Recent film scans✨

These last few months of figuring out film, my heart has truly felt so full.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m using my grandma’s camera, something that already holds so much history, or if this is simply where God has been gently leading me all along. But every time I pick it up, I feel myself getting more and more obsessed in the best way.
Film is so different than digital. It asks something of you. It asks you to slow down, to trust your eye, to lean into instinct. You walk into a moment knowing you have 36 chances, not unlimited reassurance on the back of a screen. And somehow, that pressure feels sacred instead of scary.
It’s teaching me confidence.
It’s teaching me patience.
It’s teaching me to see more intentionally.
And honestly… I think that’s why I love it so much. 🤍

God planted a dream in her heart before she knew what the world could take.And somehow, He carried her all the way here....

There’s just something about film 🤍

These photos were taken almost 3 years ago, back when I first picked up a camera and was still learning everything. I only recently had the rolls developed, and honestly… it feels like opening a little time capsule.

Film has this way of holding memories differently. The grain, the tones, the imperfections. They don’t expire with trends. They just *exist*, quietly timeless.

Looking at these now reminds me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Not for perfection, but for preserving moments that deserve to be felt years later.

Timeless then. Timeless now. 🎞️
