Hello Everyone!

With the school year kicking off, it’s time for me to take my seasonal photography break to focus on school and family!

Thank you all for an amazing summer—I’ll be posting some favorite highlights from our summer sessions over the coming days. See you all next spring!

P.S. Keep an eye out for a mini session or two hosted by my 4-H photography club coming up! More details on that soon! 🫶🏼

I’m back—and with a brand new rhythm!

After taking this past year to step away and focus on my family and my work in education, I’ve realized how much I missed the creative spark of photography. I’m so excited to announce that Amanda McDermott Photography is returning!

To make sure I keep that spark alive without the overwhelm, I’m restructuring how I work. Moving forward, I’ll be prioritizing my personal life by focusing primarily on Summer Sessions. Aligning my business with the non-teaching months allows me to give you my absolute best creative energy while staying present for the things I love most. I can’t wait to get back behind the lens and see you all in the summer light!
