AVAILABILITY UPDATE
I've been getting quite a few last-minute session inquiries lately, so I wanted to make a quick post about my current availability!

🚨 WEEKENDS ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED THROUGH JULY 🚨

At this time, I have absolutely no weekend availability or wiggle room until August.

If you're hoping to schedule a session before then, weekday appointments are the only option currently available.

Thankfully, summer evenings give us gorgeous golden-hour light and later sunsets, making weekday sessions a great alternative! β˜€οΈβœ¨

I am currently booking 2–3 months out, so if you're thinking about:

✨little perspective from a birth photographer✨

I completely understand that families have different budgets, priorities, and reasons for choosing the photographer who is the best fit for them. Not every inquiry turns into a booking, and that's okay.

What is difficult, however, is when someone spends time asking detailed questions about birth photography, pricing, logistics, and planning, chooses to hire another photographer, and then returns asking me for additional guidance and expertise because they know I have more experience in this area.

Professional knowledge, education, and experience are part of what clients invest in when they hire a specialist. When you choose not to book a provider, it's unfair to expect ongoing personalized support from them while another professional is being paid for the job.

Birth photography is a highly specialized field, and the guidance I provide comes from years of experience, training, and attending births. That knowledge has value.

Please respect creative professionals' time and expertise. If you've hired someone else, your photographer should be your primary resource for questions and support.

Thank you to the families who value not only the images we create, but also the experience, education, and care we bring to the journey.🀎

🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE 🌧️

I've had quite a few messages about the forecast for this weekend, and unfortunately it's currently showing a 95% chance of storms Saturday and Sunday.

If you're scheduled with me this weekend, let's start chatting backup dates while also crossing our fingers that Oklahoma does what Oklahoma does best and pulls a wild card at the last minute! πŸ€žβ˜€οΈ

At this time, I have no remaining weekend availability until August. If we do need to reschedule, please be open to weekday evenings. πŸ™πŸΌ

Thankfully, we're in that time of year where the sun doesn't set until nearly 8:30 PM, giving us plenty of beautiful evening light for sessions.✨

I'll continue monitoring the forecast closely and will be in touch with affected clients as we get closer to your session date.
