Tonight, these two will celebrate with friends and family back home in Georgia, and I feel so incredibly honored to have been included in the quiet, intimate beginning of their marriage here in New Orleans.

A separate film Ive made, woven together with their private wedding day vows, will be shared with those closest to them today. Getting to preserve something so personal, so honest, and so entirely *theirs* has left my heart fuller than words can say.

There is something extraordinary about being trusted with the moments that happen away from the crowd, when it’s just two people choosing each other and the rest of the world falls quiet.

What a gift it is to tell these love stories. What a privilege it is to preserve them.
