built a life filled with laughter, love, and our crazy kiddos who keep us on our toes. My 12-year-old son is a big ol’ goofball with the kindest heart you’ve ever seen, and my 4-year-old daughter is the perfect mix of sugar and sass. We also have one big, goofy, lovable dog who’s convinced he’s a lap baby. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me editing with a Diet Mt Dew in hand, checking off one of my endless lists (because I love a good list ), dreaming about my next road trip, and rewatching Gilmore Girls for the hundredth time — yes, all at once, because multitasking is my love language! Photography has been part of my story since I was 12, when I got my very first 35mm film camera for my birthday. My dad taught me the importance of documenting everything — the big moments, the small ones, and all the perfectly imperfect ones in between. He was my biggest fan and cheerleader. He’s been in Heaven for 12 years now, but every time I pick up my camera, I feel like I’m carrying a piece of him with me. What he taught me became the heartbeat behind what I do...to capture and preserve all of life’s moments and details, before they slip away. I am a natural light photographer, which means I use the beauty of the sun to light up my sessions.
