iation. Roeblingfest is a day long celebration honoring the John A. The festival is a way to bring people to Covington to witness this beautiful bridge and all that surrounds it. Exhibits, Tours and Presentation will be FREE this year: historic and educational tours, exhibits form local museums, Historic Presentations, Roebling Bridge Replica Lego Display, Special Recognition Ceremony. A Roebling Bridge Photo Contest, Silent Auction for a Trip to the Top of the Bridge, Documentary Films shown on Large digital Monitors, period dancers and personalities, great food and drinks at nearby restaurants. RoeblingFest was started by the Covington Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee. The CCSBC is a volunteer citizen's organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the Roebling Bridge. They are responsible for providing and maintaining the flags and decorative lighting as well as showcasing this magnificent structure. They started the festival as a Celebration of Art, Architecture, History and Engineering along the Covington riverbanks by the south tower. The first RoeblingFest was in 2004 and continued on as a CCSBC event for the next four years. We will functions as partners with the newly formed Roebling Point Business District merchants and Covington Farmers Market. In 2016 the RoeblingFest changed its focus to the History surrounding the ownership, construction, economic impact and regional transportation importance for the last 150 years.
