Sometimes the best chapters of your life don't have a map.

Growth never happens by staying in one comfortable place; it happens when we dare to step into the unknown. Sometimes that shift in perspective is all we need.

This summer is bringing more than a few opportunities to stretch beyond my comfort zone. Some are exciting, some are a little intimidating, but I'm leaning in anyway. Here's to new experiences, fresh perspectives, and trusting that the next chapter is worth the leap!

Some mornings you hit the ground running...motivated, determined, and ready to take on whatever comes your way.

Other mornings feel like life started throwing punches before you even had your first cup of coffee.

But no matter what kind of day it is, the sun still rises. The stock needs feeding, chores still need doing and responsibilities aren’t gonna wait.

So pour the coffee. ☕️
Whisper the prayer. 🙏
Find something to smile about.
And when the day tests your patience and strength...

I'm so happy I live in a world where there is a Montana. ❤

The Circle Bar Guest Ranch in Hobson, what an absolutely stunning place. The Judith River winds right through the heart of the ranch, adding even more beauty and character to an already incredible setting. One of my many favorite spots was the old red barn, especially the hayloft (which doubled as a dance hall for us!). It made the perfect location for experimenting with some really fun lighting techniques during our photography sessions (soon to come!). 😊

The wranglers truly are the heart and soul of a guest ranch experience. Elyssa, Stacey, Daniee, and Nico receive high marks for safety, storytelling, and making sure everyone had a blast. A huge shout-out to Ted for his abundant knowledge of all things Cowboy and ranch life for our guests too!

From the breathtaking scenery to the outstanding staff, everything exceeded expectations. Angie and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Huge thanks to everyone at Circle Bar for helping make our Montana experience one we won't soon forget. Your hard work, great stories, and genuine hospitality are what made our stay so memorable.

I’m lucky to know a whole lot of women who embody that! 😊

Elyssa is most definitely one of them, as the Manager of Horse Operations at Circle Bar Guest Ranch, part of the True Ranch Collection, she leads with a whole lot of grit, heart, and quiet determination.
Huge thanks to the incredible staff at Circle Bar Guest Ranch for hosting our Spring Cowgirls with Cameras Montana Immersive Photography Learning Experience in Hobson. We were so fortunate to spend the week with such a wonderful group of photographers for this new event. Thank you all for making it so special! ❤ Can't wait to share more from our week!
