This week feels different… 🤍
All around us, there are celebrations, caps in the air, proud families, and seniors stepping into everything they’ve worked so hard for. It’s a week full of joy and new beginnings…
But for some, this week also carries a quiet ache.
This week, we honor and remember Cadence.
A beautiful soul who was just 18, standing right on the edge of her next chapter. She had a 4.0 GPA, big dreams ahead, and a future that was so bright. She was the kind of person who didn’t just chase her goals, she inspired the people around her to believe in theirs too.
Cadence was more than her accomplishments though… she was kind, genuine, and full of a light that you could feel. The kind of light that stays with you long after the moment passes.
Getting to capture her graduation photos will forever be one of the greatest honors. I’m so grateful I got to know Cadence, even if it was only for a moment in time. She left an impression that will stay with me always.
It’s hard to make sense of something like this. It’s hard to understand why a life so full of promise could be taken so soon. But even in the heartbreak, I hold onto my faith. I believe with everything in me that God welcomed her into Heaven with open arms, calling her home in a way we may never fully understand here on earth.
And while her time here was far too short, her life was so meaningful. She made an impact. She was deeply loved. And she will never, ever be forgotten.
This week, as we see graduates walk across that stage, we’ll also be thinking of Cadence, honoring the life she lived, the dreams she carried, and the joy she brought into this world.
Please keep her family in your prayers, especially as they lay her to rest this Friday. Surround them with love, strength, and a peace that only God can give.
Cadence, your life mattered more than words can say.
Your light is still shining.
And you will be remembered, always. ✨
