it’s been a little while since i’ve done a couples session, and this one was SO much fun! 🤍

we spent the evening doing something so fun - fishing! 🎣 did they catch a single thing? absolutely not 😂 but that’s what makes these sessions so fun. getting to capture you doing something you genuinely love together, the laughs, the little moments, and everything in between.

got to spend the evening with one of my favorite people and her little family!!! 🥹🤎

it’s been a little over a year since i’ve gotten to take their photos, so i was SO excited to have them in front of my camera again!!! her little boys are the absolute SWEETEST & needless to say… we had LOTS of energy (😂) & honestly, that’s exactly what i LOOOVE about these sessions.

my goal is never for your kids to stand perfectly still & smile at the camera the whole time. i want running, laughing, cuddles (& chaos), the little in-between moments - the REAL stuff. those are ALWAYS my favorite pictures.🥹

the sky was absolutely GORGEOUS tonight and this tall grass made for the prettiest field photos 🌾🤎 although… i’m pretty sure i need to add “lawn tech” to my resume after fighting with this grass the whole time😅

what do all of these photos have in common? 👀

M O T H E R H O O D.

these are all moms i’ve had the chance to photograph in their own little piece of motherhood. maternity, family, newborn moments… all of it.

and it got me thinking…

moms are the glue of the family. we’re the support system, the ones everyone leans on, the ones making sure everyone else is okay. who’s checking on momma?

let’s be real… not everyone is lucky enough to have a village.

so what if we made one? 🤎

i want to randomly pick a **HANDFUL** of moms who don’t know each other, get us all together for a little mother stranger(s) shoot, and just… hang out.🥹

we’ll paint, sip some w**e, laugh, talk about motherhood, probably overshare within the first 20 minutes and obviously take some really stinking cute pictures. 🍷🎨📸

but more than anything, i’m hoping we leave with something we didn’t walk in with…

new friendships!!!!!!

because maybe the mom sitting next to you ends up being the mom you text when you’ve had the worst day. maybe your kids become friends. maybe you finally find the little piece of a village you’ve been missing.

and if nothing else, we’ll have a really fun night with a bunch of women who just *get it.*

of course i had to wrap him up while i still can.🥹 i got so lucky with my blue eyed babies - they're literally the sun and the moon. ☀️🌙

i don’t share my babies’ faces online, so that’s why his face is blurred out, BUT i had to share these because i wanted to show you guys that you can STILL get the cutest photos even at 3 months old!!!

MOMMASSSS - if you didn’t book “newborn” photos, YOU STILL HAVE TIME!!!🥹 and honestly, i may be biased, but i think i love them even MORE than newborn photos sometimes. they show so much more of their little personality - more smiles, more expressions, and in Krue’s case… MORE ROLLS!!! 😂

no seriously, somebody get me some butter for these rolls!!! 😭🤍

so if you’re sitting there thinking you missed your chance because your baby is already a few weeks or months old - you DIDN’T!!! message me and let’s get your sweet baby in the basket. 🥹🎀

i seriously don’t even know where to start with this one!!! i did her senior photos, then her prom photos, and now i get to say i did her MATERNITY photos!!! 😭🎀 and they drove THREE HOURS to come see me!!! like are you kidding me?!?!

i absolutely LOVE getting to watch families grow through my camera, and getting to photograph all these different seasons for the same people means so much to me. 🤎

we got this session done just before the storm rolled in, and even though it was way earlier in the day than i normally shoot, i am SO happy with how these turned out!!!

alsooo — September + October are filling up QUICK! if you’ve been thinking about booking, now is the time! newborn sessions are the exception - just reach out once baby arrives & i’ll squeeze you in!🤎

i have SO many sessions i’ve been dying to share with you guys!! i’ve gotten to do a bunch of my absolute FAVORITES here recently - newborns + maternity!!! ahhhhh my heart is ON FIRE 😭🤍 there is just something about these sessions that i will never get over.

so here’s sweet little Delaney girl 🥹🎀 ughhhhh to be a baby all snuggled up in a basket like this!!! how sweet can you get?!

there’s just something about a lake, golden hour, and two people so excited to meet their baby boy. 💙

i had the sweetest maternity session today, and these two made my job way too easy. 😂

if you've noticed i've been a little quiet lately (or waiting a little longer than usual for replies 🙈), thank you for being so patient with me. i've been soaking up every second of what's left of Krue's tiny newborn stage, and these days are going by way too fast.

there's also a little change coming soon that i've been pouring my heart into. 🤍 it's something that better represents this season of life and the reason i do what i do. i can't wait to share it with you all soon... any guesses? 👀

POV: you schedule a dreamy maternity session at Lake Roberson for 7:00 PM… get there and see signs EVERYWHERE saying “all gates close at 7:00” and think… ehhh surely not 😂

um yeah… they definitely close at 7 😭🤣

so we QUICKLY switched plans and headed to a new location and honestlyyyy it ended up being PERFECT 😍 the sunset showed off, mama looked GORGEOUS, and we got the most BEAUTIFUL photos 🥹✨

moral of the story: maybe don’t ignore the signs… but also everything works out the way it’s supposed to 😂📸

earlier yesterday i photographed the sweetest newborn session, and then got to come out here for this…

ended the day on the parkway with the most beautiful maternity session 🤍 the weather was perfect, the views were unreal, and this couple was just everything. so sweet, so natural, and so excited for their baby boy.

days like this remind me how much i love what i do.
