Hi, it’s me! ♡ Feels a little weird being on this side of the camera but I figured I’d introduce myself around here.

I’m Karissa. Wife, mom, photographer, chronic overthinker and the person behind Never Lost Photography. I love the woods, the ocean, old things, wildflowers, good music, Jesus, summer nights, anything nostalgic and finding beauty in things most people probably walk right past.

I’ve never really been a perfectly posed, everything in its place kind of person, and my photography definitely isn’t either. I like windblown hair, movement, grain, weird little details and the shots that almost feel accidental. The ones that actually make you feel something.

Never Lost has become a little collection of everything I love. People, stories, pretty places, weird ideas and getting to make art out of real life. I’ve built something that feels like an extension of who I am and getting to share that with all of you is pretty damn cool.

Also, photo credit to my 9 year old son. I handed him the camera and said have at it. Apparently having a photographer for a mom has rubbed off on him a little 😂 he’s clearly been taking notes ✍️
