Group headshots: on-location or in-studio? 🤔

Booking headshots for your team doesn't have to be complicated. On-location keeps things easy for your team, and in-studio is budget-friendly and makes it simple to add new hires later.

Congratulations to Kori Nelson, Iowa Western Community College's Outstanding Alum!

This shoot was a fun one. Part of the shoot took place while my own kids were at Horse Powered Reading at Horses Help SWI, so I got to see Kori's work firsthand.

As executive director, Kori is making a real difference for the kids, veterans, seniors, and families who come through Horses Help SWI, and she deserves this award.

A few favorites that didn't make it into the magazine. You can read her full story at the link in the comments.

🍫 Chocolate and vanilla, perfectly swirled and shot to make you feel the summer heat. This is the kind of image that makes someone put down their phone and head straight to Doozie's. That's the goal.

🌹 Good Neighbor Day is happening on Wednesday. Bloom Works Floral is giving away 15,000+ roses, like for real that many.

Stop by on September 9th starting at 8am and grab a free dozen while supplies last. And if you haven't spent a minute on the 100 block while this is happening, you're missing out. It's pretty incredible.

This summer, my own kids got to be part of the Horse Powered Reading program at Horses Help SWI. I couldn't resist capturing some of the magic. From letter hunts to group reads in the arena, watching them learn and grow through this program was such a unique and special experience. - Machaela

Sounds like another reading program is in the works. Follow Horses Help SWI to stay in the know.
