Rebrand.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I want my photography to look like and I realized it was probably time for the brand around it to catch up.

I’ve always been the person with the camera. In high school. In college. On trips. At parties. Just hanging out with friends. I am quite literally the friend who still has Ziploc baggies full of actual printed photographs from 25 years ago. 😂

During COVID, I started taking pictures of people instead of just documenting the people around me. I bought better equipment. I learned how to use it. I practiced. And over the last several years, I’ve kept learning, experimenting, and figuring out what kind of photographer I actually want to be.

And I think I'm finally figuring that part out.

I love photographs that feel like the person in them. I love movement and weird angles and dramatic light and tiny expressions. I love finding an interesting corner of an otherwise ordinary place. I love the shot that happens between the shots we were supposed to be taking. And lately, I’ve been pushing myself to make images that feel less like “here is your senior picture” or “here is your family picture” and more like something we made together.

I’ll still get you the picture your grandma wants. I’m not a monster. 😂 But I also want to make the one you didn’t know you wanted.

So, here we are.

New name. New look. Same person who has been carrying a camera around for most of her life but with a much clearer idea of what I want to do with it now.

I want to make photographs that are interesting. That feel like the people in them. That don't look exactly like the ones I took last week or the ones everyone else is taking.

I want to experiment more. Play more. Notice more. Take some risks. And make the kind of photographs that make me a little impatient to get home and open my computer.

This fall, I'm offering a limited number of family sessions designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of genuine connection.

We'll capture those classic family portraits you'll want to frame and use for holiday cards, but I also want to create space for the moments in between: the laughter, the movement, the hugs, and the little interactions that make your family uniquely yours.

These aren't rushed mini sessions. We'll have 45 minutes together, giving everyone time to settle in, have fun, and create images that truly reflect this season of your family's life.

Session Details:
📅 October 16, 17 & 23
🕔 Session times: 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 p.m.
📍 Lake Manawa State Park (exact meeting location will be provided after booking)
⏱️ 45-minute session
📸 Beautifully edited online gallery with high-resolution downloads included
💲$300

I'm intentionally limiting the number of sessions this fall so I can give each family a personalized experience.
