Hey Verde Valley! I want to introduce myself properly.

My name is Emily. I relocated here from the Gulf Coast of Alabama, and when I made that move, I did something I never thought I'd do — I put my camera down. Life got loud. Corporate took over. And somewhere in the hustle of starting over in a new state, I let go of the thing that has always brought me the most joy.

But my heart keeps calling me back to it. So here I am.
Photography isn't just something I do; it's how I see the world. It's how I've always believed ordinary moments deserve to be treated like the extraordinary ones they truly are.

✨A baby's first beach trip. Grandparents holding grandchildren. Two people choosing each other. A senior standing on the edge of everything that's next. These are the moments I was made to capture.

I had the joy of capturing the Wittig family in the aspens of Flagstaff — a beautiful crew brought together by their amazing matriarch, who scheduled this session. 💛

Even sweeter… my best friend of 25+ years is part of this family.
I used to dream of living close enough to capture moments like this for them — and here we are. Heart full, camera full.

Hi, I’m Emily — a natural light photographer, homeschooling mama, and lover of heartfelt connection and honest storytelling. I just moved to Cottonwood, Arizona from Orange Beach, Alabama with my incredible family, and we’ve absolutely fallen in love with Arizona.

I have a 13-year-old daughter, an 11-year-old son, the sweetest Goldendoodle named Honey Girl, and my partner Jake, who’s my best friend and biggest supporter. We’re soaking in the views, the sunsets, and the community — and I’m so excited to now call the Verde Valley home.

Photography has been my passion since I was 18 and used my graduation money to buy my very first DSLR (which is practically a dinosaur now — ha!). My love for capturing moments truly deepened when I became a mom. I realized just how much I treasured photos of my children, even when professional sessions weren’t always affordable. That experience lit a fire in me — to help other families freeze time and create lasting memories that don’t break the bank.

My style is natural, true-to-life, and heart-centered. I keep retouching minimal because I believe real is beautiful. I specialize in:
