It would be so great if we could collectively say “wow these ai images are cool” and then be done with it. They’re robots. Let’s not have them make our art.

Also! One of my favorite self care things is to just drive around to wherever the wind takes me. The wind brought me to this amazing gluten free organic cafe and I am in *heaven*.

I just recently finished two of these books and revisited one.

My advice for any season of transition?
1. laugh
2. Create
3. stay human in all of it

aka let it be what it is and let yourself ride the waves. remember where you came from even if you don’t know yet where you’re going. art casts out fear and laughter is the best medicine. when in doubt, stop, breathe, pray and find yourself.

Some mornings
memory doesn’t knock.

It lets itself in.

Dreams hand me a life
so convincing
I reach for it
before I’m fully awake.

Then my cruel human body
reminds me where I actually am.

I open my eyes.

The house is still here.

Just not the one
I’d already moved into.

A divine house of cards.

Beautiful enough
to mistake for a home.

I loved it
long after I knew
it couldn’t stand the wind.
