Out for a quick morning flight appreciating this early winter snowfall at Thunder Mountain recreation area in Greenwich, New York. The color contrast against the snow was something else and I was glad I took 15 minutes this morning to capture it.

Cool historic aerial of Blandy Paper Mill.

After doing some research found out some history on the property. Stevens and Thompson Paper Mill, built in 1868 and burned in 2014. Perched on a cliff over the Battenkill River the mill operated until 2001. The 27 acres is now owned by a California investor and as you can see, hasn't done much.

Amazing what you find while exploring. Old factory deep in the woods. Long since abandoned but still makes for a neat focal point.
