We love that our dogs are so well traveled. They have all come a long way from when they joined our family.

Our dachshund was born on a small property in the desert and was smaller than the size of my hand when we first got him.

Our golden we got at 8 weeks old from a breeder in New Mexico and was the runt of the litter.

Our Shepherd/Border Collie mix spent 180 days in the El Paso Animal Shelter before we found her. It took us a week of sitting outside of her bed for hours at a time for her to warm up to us.

Now she, as well as the other 2, are fully trained and are completely loyal to us and get to travel more than most people do. They are almost never leashed, despite us traveling all over the country and going in and out of hotels. They get to run around, smell stuff, explore, chase each other, chase squirrels when we let them, and just be dogs. The 2 bigger dogs have jobs to do for me and they are always ready when it is time to work. They loved this last trip to the mid-west, where they don't get thorns in their paws, aren't baking in the sun, and there's water and wildlife everywhere. We are all looking forward to returning soon.

Sometimes they pose better than people do 😂
