The nursery you spent months dreaming up deserves to be remembered, too.

The tiny details. The name on the wall. The blankets folded over the chair. The little things carefully chosen before you ever knew exactly who would be sleeping in that crib.

These are some of my favorite details to photograph during an in-home newborn session, because one day, this room won’t look quite like this anymore. 🥹

As a photographer, it’s my job to notice everything.

The little moments.
The in-between.
The connections you didn’t even realize were happening.

The interaction you may not have noticed me capturing.

Because that’s where the real memories live.

While mom pauses to tend to baby, dad turns those few quiet minutes into playtime with big brother.
The family dog wanders in to make sure everyone is okay.
Nobody is posing for the camera.

And yet… these are always some of my favorite images.

These are the moments your children will look back on one day and say, “That’s exactly how it felt.”

It’s never just about documenting what your family looked like, while that is part of it.

It’s about preserving how your family loved each other when no one thought anyone was watching.
