From a Hawaii Elopment to a beautiful backyard reception 🤍

Evan + Carolyn exchanged vows during an intimate Maui elopement and spent time celebrating together in Kauai before coming home to party with family and friends. The best of both worlds ✨

Even heavy rain the night before (and LOTS of mud by the end of the night 😂) couldn’t keep anyone off the dance floor.

From the lakeside views to the tent reception and carefree celebration, this day was such a reminder that the best wedding moments are usually the unplanned ones.

I’ve been a little quiet around here lately 🤍

We’re in the final stretch of finishing our home renovations and doing everything we can to get settled before wedding season begins again. I know once my couples are in full swing, they deserve my full focus — and so does my family.

So if I’ve been a little MIA, just know it’s for a good reason. We’re building, finishing, preparing… and I’m very much still here.

Engagement sessions really are the practice round that changes everything. 🤍

They’re where you shake off the nerves, build trust, and realize you don’t have to know what you’re doing — that’s my job. By the time your wedding day arrives, it doesn’t feel like a photographer showing up… it feels like a friend standing beside you.

This session at in Clymer, NY was such a reminder of how perfect this location is for engagement photos and weddings — beautiful views, soft light, and so many classy backdrops.

Sedona vows ➝ Erie celebration 🤍
Two locations. One love story.

What started as an intimate Sedona, Arizona elopement surrounded by immediate family ended with the most joyful celebration months later back home in Erie, Pennsylvania — and getting to tell both chapters of their story was such an honor.

There’s something so special about couples who choose to do it their way — exchanging vows in a place that takes your breath away, then coming back to celebrate big with everyone they love. Two days, two locations, one beautiful story.
