I had such a wonderful experience today taking photos of author Joelle Charbonneau at Parker Middle School! She spoke to the 7th and 8th grade Language Arts classes, who are currently reading her book Verify. When I arrived, the teachers had decorated the LGI room with art that the students had created, illuminated by blacklight.

Joelle was so fun, much more casual than I was expecting and she had a such a great demeanor when dealing with a bunch of middle schoolers.

I'll let the school share photos of the students, but I wanted to share the cool decor that the kiddos made, as well as a few photos of Joelle from this morning. We are SO lucky to have such a fantastic school district, who continues to create these opportunities for our students.

It was a beautiful day for the Bre Humble and Kind Foundation 2026 Chicken Run! The event was held at General McLane High School, with an array of events including a 5K, a kids fun run, an egg hunt, and chuck a chick! The foundation also awarded a scholarship to GM student Teige Berger.

There is no other place I'd be on the 4th of July than Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Boro with the Works on the PennWest Edinboro campus, the 4th of July festival on Edinboro Lake that is put on by the Edinboro Lakeside Association, and the annual Edinboro Kiwanis Duck Race.

How lucky we are to have this amazing community.

It was a gorgeous afternoon at Liberty Park for the NW PA Pride Alliance, Inc. Pride event. The performers were so fun, I wish we could have stayed longer!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous for the inaugural Saturdays in the Park at Nature's Outlet. To kick off a summer of music events was Mike Spagnolo of Northbound Soul!

Just a very small sample of the photos I took at the Girard Art Walk. It was such a fun event, the entirety of downtown Girard was filled with artists, musicians, and families who came out to enjoy the festivities.

Today's Disability Resource Fair of NWPA was incredible. So many people came together to bring to life the vision of the mother's of disabled children. They had a dream, and today it became a reality. There were puppets, a dance group, speakers, and SO many dogs. I met so many children who were impossible not to fall in love with. It was such an amazing day, and I'm so thankful I was able to be a part of it.

Just a few more photos from the Edinboro Arts & Music Festival! I wasn't there very long (I was just a spectator, not an official volunteer) but there was a lot to see in a short period of time!

Look at all of these amazing things you can find at the Edinboro Art and Music festival! If you missed out yesterday, they fest is still going on today until 5:00PM! The vendor tent is between Nature's Outlet and the Edinboro Market, and there is music all over town. View the schedule here:
