Their super-long, forked tail helps them make sharp mid-air turns while chasing insects. They hunt by “hawking”, which is flying out from a perch to snag insects in mid-air. I saw it do this a few times and tried to capture it. I failed, lol. You can swipe to see my “best” attempt.
