Guysssss! My best friend had a babyyyy! Im not crying you are 😭 I'm moving in 3 days, however I am so excited I get to see the little lady! Im convinced she came early just so I could meet her. I've been here for a decent chunk of this journey. Through the good, the bad, I've been by her side for 7.5 years, and thank goodness she has been by mine. I wouldn't have lasted without her. In moving I'm losing my best friend, my photography partner, and the chance to see her little family grow. We are both embarking on new adventures and fwend, I couldn't be happier for you. I love you with all my heart and I can confidently say, you are the hardest part about leaving Corpus Christi.

Soooo I have an important announcement! If you didn't already know, after Thanksgiving I will be moving me and my business to North Texas 🥰 After 8 years living in Corpus Christi, it is my time to return to my true home. That being said, I know so many of you have talked about booking a session with me. Spots are very limited but please contact me fast if you would like to get squeezed in! Im scared and nervous with what the future has to hold for me but I know I'm ready and I can't wait to start this new journey!

For me, if I really love a photograph, one of the first things I do is turn it black and white. Because I know if it is stunning in color, the drama of a black and white will only add that much more. Case in point.

Oh hiiiii! For those of you that didn't know... This is me! I'm Hannah! I've never posted a picture of myself before becauseee (CONFESSION TIME) I hate being in front of the camera. There. I said it. I'm awkward and uncoordinated. I think that is part of what makes me a great photographer though. My favorite part of being BEHIND the camera is helping people loosen up and getting them to give a genuine smile. I'm not sure how but some people actually think I'm funny?! I've shot weddings for about 5 years now, thankfully with my best friend by my side most of the time. I went to college and achieved my Bachelors in Fine Arts for photography. I've been to several conferences to help you improve your craft. You can get an education, learn about photography, do all kinds of research! BUT they don't teach you how to be a human. How to empathize with the person on the other side of the lens. Make them smile, laugh and invoke a feeling. When somebody leaves a session with me and tells me they had fun just makes my day. I know that I've really achieved something then.

Wellllll nothing is official until the magazine comes out on June 1st, but we've got a good feeling about this one! I have to tell you I was incredibly overwhelmed by the amazing support we had! Thank you so much to everybody who shared, everybody who pushed for me, everybody I nagged every. single. day. and everybody who nagged other people every.single.day. when I was't there. Shout out to my grandmother who gave me HOURLY updates. Im not sure I have ever felt this loved by the people I'm surrounded by. So many people just coming up to me to tell me they voted, and they made their mom and aunt and cousin vote too. It truly made me so happy and humble.

Let me transport you back to December of last year. My best friend, Laura, from Padre Ryan Photographic , had a very serious potential threat of having covid. Most of the time I am her loyal 2nd shooter on wedding days. We've shot together for over 6 years now! So on this day, she put her trust in me to shoot this big wedding in lieu of her. What a day it was! Chelsea and Daniel thought of every last detail and I coudn't have been more thrilled to be there and capture every moment for them as Laura's stand in!
