Bryson turned one and got an early start on hunting season! Never have I ever seen camo look SO cute!!

We had SO much fun on Harmony Hill this morning with this handsome little man! He LOVES being outside so "The BIG one" as his theme with all the props his mama brought was perfect! His grandfathers gun and one he will one day be able to use is so special to have in the photos. I LOVE that you are so easy going Danielle, yet show up with so much stuff and are like "have at it." Thank you for always having all the confidence in me, and encouraging me in ways I can't explain. I love photographing your babies and Bryson was PERFECT for his one year session today! He smiled, ate, laughed and posed exactly how needed!

Happy (a little belated) birthday sweet boy. You sure are wonderful in every way!

Nothing takes me back to those first early days with my girls quite like sitting with parents of a newborn baby..... and with my job, I get to do it often!

This morning as I worked with their gorgeous, "mushy" little man, (I apologize for the number of times I said that this morning!) I listened as Cortney and Brad told me Kade's birth story. How one unexpected thing after another kept happening. How her mind and body was so strong, capable of carrying this beautiful boy and birthing him in the exact way needed to get him here safe. How the two of them are figuring out all the things a newborn keeps us on our toes with....is it gas? Hunger? Is he sleepy?! Is he eating enough?!?

Cortney and Brad, you two are doing AMAZING. I LOVED chatting with you both and hearing the way you love your beautiful boy. I love that the two of you are in this together and asking questions and just doing your very best to give your son YOUR best. Cortney, you are SO beautiful, and I love that your precious boy has your big round eyes that will MELT your heart every time you try to say no. And I adore the fact that Kade smiled SO big when his little duck toy was placed in his hands...he's going to be his Daddies little sidekick day after day. Keep doing what you're doing. Through the long nights and the easy ones....soak in EVERY minute.

Devin and Mason drove well over an hour to get a few portraits done and while I KNOW photos are not generally a guy's "favorite" thing to do, neither complained and both were wonderful to work with. Beautiful Stella....

Her arrival, although unexpectedly a few weeks early, made life SO sweet. Her little smiles, her beautiful face, her ten fingers and ten toes (those long feet of hers!) and her precious little body wrapped up in 6.9 oz of perfection brought the kind of joy my words fail at expressing.

Just into the afternoon of August 17th, Trina and Will welcomed their gorgeous baby girl, Stella Jean. Soon after, big sister, Charlie, got to meet and fall in love with her as well. Instantly captivated, this entire family is surrounding Stella with love, attention and all she will ever need to thrive.

LOVED getting to see and work with you all! Charlie is doing AMAZING with Stella, and I LOVE her curiosity about all things. She's such a beautiful girl, inside and out, and will be the best role model for her sister! Thank you for choosing HarmonyHill Photography once again. Stella was a complete doll the entire time, I could have snuggled her ALL day! You look amazing, Trina, and I am thrilled for you! You've never look happier. Congratulations Trina and Will on your beautiful growing family!

The temperamental weather made for some moody skies and dramatic backdrops for Mr. Crew and his SIX-year-old birthday portraits this evening!!

Crew, year after year, struts onto the "scene" ready for anything. He knows SO much and has such an amazing personality. I can't believe the child standing before me this evening was that teeny babe I wrapped up in a basket by the tree all those years ago. What a wonderful child, and what fun he is to be around!

Happy (almost) birthday, beautiful boy! You certainly made the evening easy!

Rain usually scares people away....so when Courtney messaged that they were still planning to come this evening I was THRILLED!!

The colors looked SO vibrant, and their smiles never seemed so big despite the rain that just kept pouring out of the skies. Courtney and Hubba's beautiful baby girl, Winona, who will be turning one NEXT week, smiled away despite the chill from the evening rain and acted as if it was a totally normal occasion to be doing this. Winona is so beautiful...her bright blue eyes shining even more so against the wet greens this evening and her gorgeous pale skin. She has the softest red hair and eyes that smile with her cheeks. She ADORES her mama and wants to be in her arms at all times and loves her Daddy, too! Winona did wonderful, and it's no wonder, as she's loved and cared for so beautifully in each moment of her days.
