🤍 Porter Lens Co. is officially closing its doors. 🤍
As much as I love photography, the reality is that working a full-time job is enough for me right now. As much as I love being behind the camera, my kids having their mom present, making memories with them, and being there for the little moments means more to me than anything. ❤️
Through all the photos I’ve taken, I’ve gained so much more than just pictures. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing families, watching little ones grow, capturing special milestones, and being trusted to preserve memories that will last a lifetime. I will always cherish every family, child, and person who has stood in front of my camera and allowed me to be a small part of their story.
This isn’t necessarily goodbye to photography. I’ll still enjoy taking photos for fun and may offer mini sessions when my schedule allows. The difference is that it will simply be Mackenzie behind the camera, not Porter Lens Co. There will be no pressure, no business expectations, just me doing something I love when I have the time.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I took something I loved and turned it into something real, and I will always be grateful for the experiences, memories, friendships, and opportunities that came with it. I’ve grown so much along the way, and I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished.
To everyone who supported me, booked with me, shared my work, recommended me, chose me, and believed in me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped make Porter Lens Co. what it was, and I will never take that for granted. 🥹🤍
Sometimes, closing one chapter isn’t giving up. It’s simply choosing what matters most in this season of life.
For me, that’s being present for my babies. And I wouldn’t trade that for anything. ❤️
