Public Service Announcement: DO NOT EVER use for your payment processor. They withhold your funds for no apparent reason and refuse to provide you with any form of explanation. You cannot get a hold of a single person in the US and definitely won't speak to anyone in a position of authority. Every agent gives you the same speech, "I will escalate this to an internal team who will email you in 24 hours. No one ever does. There are countless complaints across Linked in and Facebook of others making the same complaint.

Congratulations to Peyton, Class of 2021!

Peyton and her mom, drove down from MD to shoot in the beautiful mountains of NC. We planned a sunrise to sunset shoot that covered 6 locations and roughly 200 miles. Each location was chosen based on who Peyton is, what she loves and enjoys, and who she plans to be in the future. It was an awesome day! Peyton is a true overcomer! Her shoot took us from the mountain summits she experienced as a child, down into the valleys. We ended up chasing the sun. The sun won; we ended up shooting her waterfall location in the dark! Always an adventure! Thank you Lisa and Peyton for a wonderful day!

Normally, this time of year I would be busy shooting high school senior portraits. There are ways I can pivot my business but the truth is I don't feel good as a human being, in asking hurting families, to consider spending their limited resources on photography. So I have decided not too. Instead, I want to offer drive-by senior portraits,
to my local community. For the next 2 weeks, I will come to your home and shoot, contactless portraits, of your senior from the street. These mini sessions will be at no cost. (Prints will be offered at 25% off) The only catch is that one portrait must include sign of hope -that you make - to lift up your fellow seniors. I was so excited to capture Alyssa's senior portraits! I met Alyssa several years ago when she was my photography student. The first time I photographed Alyssa was for pageant photos. I knew then that the camera loves her! Alyssa graduated at only 16 and is now preparing for college! I am super proud of her and have greatly enjoyed being a part of her journey! Building lasting relationships, capturing many of their special moments, and serving as a mentor for our teens, is what I truly love about my job! They are not just another senior portrait client; these kids become a part of my extended family!

Julia is a woman I admire on so many levels. She is a powerhouse attorney, global professor, political advocate, life long student, pilot, animal lover, and grand adventurer. Most importantly, she is a woman of great integrity, loyalty, love, and compassion. Capturing her headshots is a privilege; having her as my friend, is a treasure!
