Today was one of those days that reminded me why I love slowing down and exploring…

We started the morning at the car show in Toccoa before hopping in the Jeep and taking the scenic route through South Carolina into North Carolina. We made our way to Dry Falls, stopped at the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls along the way, and soaked in all the mountain views! 🤗

It was so refreshing to spend the day adventuring with my chauffeur (aka my husband 😂). Sometimes the best days aren’t the ones with a packed schedule—they’re the ones where you can breathe, laugh, and simply enjoy God’s beautiful creation!

As a photographer, I can’t help but scout new locations everywhere we go, and let’s just say… I found quite a few spots that would make the dreamiest backdrop for future sessions! 📸🍃

Days like today fill my creative cup. The mountains, the waterfalls, the winding roads, and quality time together were exactly what my heart needed!

The little hand reaching up for Dad’s won’t be so little anymore.

The fishing trips will become memories.
The bedtime stories will come to an end.
The rides in the old truck, the Saturday mornings in the garage, the ice cream dates after school… they’ll become stories your children tell one day!

Photographs aren’t just for today.

The little moments, the hugs, the laughter, the people we love—they change so quickly!

Every time I pick up my camera, I’m reminded that photographs become some of the most treasured things we own, and it’s one of my reasons for becoming a photographer!📸
