My weekend: watching wrestling and editing photos. Finishing AAU state prepays, SPW state prepays, working on all other AAU photos, working on HS boys state and working on HS girls state. In that order.

But first a day date with my 3 dudes. ♥️

If you’ve emailed or messaged me I’ll work through them but wanted to give a photo update.

‼️ anyone wanting senior or family photos done from now til October along with events or special projects and spring/summer sports please send me a message or email. I will be working on April-October(limited March) availability on Sunday. If you want to make sure you’re on the list please let me know by Sunday.

PSA: Photos will be posted in photo galleries as soon as I can get through them. Wednesday- Saturday at Wells Fargo from 8am-10pm and I have over 11,000 photos to go through. lol. I promise I'm not ignoring your messages. Prepping for AAU state and going through photos is going to take a few days. 😵‍💫

Today was one of those days as a mom I won’t soon forget. This kid reignited my love for the sport of wrestling. He has been wrestling since he could walk. He inspires me to want more and do better and follow my passions. He has been so unbelievably supportive of my time with IAwrestle and loves being a part of anything I’m doing. Today he got to sit with me matside and shoot photos right beside me. He had so much fun and took some really great shots.

I’m so thankful for the college kid sitting next to me from the Iowa state daily that asked him if he wanted to take photos with his second camera. He taught him and he hyped him up about the shots he got, he made Asher’s day. He also reminded me to take the time to teach them. In the middle of a dual he was so patient and kind to him.

Sometimes as a mom of 3 crazy boys and in the midst of the wrestling season I forget to slow down and enjoy the moment with them. I really got to do that with Asher today. I was reminded to slow down and breathe it all in. The days are long but man the years are short. ♥️
