Finally started working on my road trip pics. My first stop was Charleston. Love this city with its southern charm and postcard moments around every corner.

After much soul searching I decided to go light and only take my Fujifilm X100V on the trip.

Great decision because it forced me to forget about all the equipment and instead look inward and explore my own capabilities as a photographer.

Here’s a shot of a boutique in the French Quarter district. It appears they were in the process of opening the store but they managed to set up the mannequins which created an interesting look.

The Fujifilm film simulation seemed perfect for the late afternoon lighting. The image almost appears to be a black and white shot but it’s actually a color shot.
