Quick last min, because I was only in town a couple days, 10 min session, trying to beat the storm, and a lot of “idk that it’ll even look good” from the mama to be and I sent her this magical outcome of giving me just 10 mins. I love when I get back texts saying “how?!” “They’re amazing, I cannot believe you got those” it drives my passion to prove to people magic only takes a few mins.

I’ve never been much of a “landscape photographer”. I’ve always been drawn to capturing people in different times, stages, and elements of their lives. Lately though the script has really flipped on me, I’ve been less drawn (not away from still very active but still) from my usual portrait style photography and more drawn to what Oregon has been gifting me with outside. We are currently in our most whirlwind season. An inch of rainfall in 24hrs one day and sunny and warm the next. You never know what’s waiting, but the sky regardless of the day has been sure blessing us with beauty. So I hope you enjoy a few shoots from the last few months. Let me know which one/ones are your favorites!

Some of the most powerful shots I’ve ever taken have mostly all been with this girl in them during her medical battles. Why I take them? So she never forgets, not for one second the battles she’s already won. So every time she faces them she knows exactly what she’s capable of because of what she’s already done. Here is to the little warriors of this world, that fight without holding back.
