Me, before I start editing:
β€œThey booked 20 photos. Easy.”

Me, 3 hours later:
β€œBut this one is cute… and this one… and HOW am I supposed to leave this one out?!” πŸ˜‚

Choosing which photos to deliver is honestly one of the hardest parts of my job. If the gallery is full of good moments, my self-control goes right out the window.

So if you’ve ever gotten a few (or a lot πŸ˜…) of extra photos from me… just know I tried. I really did.

I just can’t leave the good ones behind. 🀍

🀎 Happy Father’s Day 🀎

Today we celebrate the dads who show up in the quiet moments.

The ones who hold hands through contractions, whisper encouragement when things feel hard, shed tears when they meet their baby for the first time, and spend countless nights rocking little ones back to sleep.

Fatherhood isn’t always loud. Often, it’s found in the gentle, everyday acts of love, protection, and presence.

As a birth photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing some of the most beautiful beginnings and seeing fathers step into their new role is always one of my favorite parts of the story.

To every dad, stepdad, grandfather, and father figure: thank you for the love you give so freely.

✨ A Little Update From Wild Earth Births ✨

As my business continues to grow and evolve alongside my family, I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on where my heart is being called in this season of life.

Over the coming months, you’ll notice a shift in my editing style as I continue refining my artistic vision and creating images that feel even more authentic, timeless, and true to the stories I tell. Growth is a beautiful part of every creative journey, and I’m excited to share this next chapter with all of you.

With that said, I’ve also made the difficult decision to temporarily step back from birth photography while my daughter is still little. Being on-call for births is an incredible honor, but right now my family needs a little more of me during these precious years.

While birth sessions will be on hold for the time being, I am excited to welcome more families, maternity sessions, newborns, and Fresh 48 sessions. Documenting these moments still allows me to tell meaningful stories while creating a schedule that better serves both my clients and my family.

To every family who has trusted me to document your journeyβ€”whether through birth, motherhood, or family milestonesβ€”thank you. Your support means more than words can express.
