Geri and David tied the knot in Park City, Utah! They were surrounded by their families. They had a short and sweet ceremony in a neighborhood park, a special place to both of them. The whole gang then boarded a private shuttle and headed to the mountain!
These two are a testament to adaptability. An incredibly important quality in life, but also when it comes to having a winter wedding! They originally planned to ski the Canyons side of the resort which is their favorite part of the mountain. However, due to a snowstorm and high winds, Canyons was closed and there were limited lifts running on the Park City side. Not to be dismayed, they switched up their plan, and headed to the Park City side to get in a few runs with their families! Everyone rode up the lift and took a run down as a group. Then Geri, David, his father, and his brother braved the main lift line for their next run. It was very windy and it started to hail, but they were absolute champs. They skied a very snowy run down, then reunited with the rest of their family at the base for lunch at a pub. Before departing back home, Geri made sure to do a bouquet toss for all of their nieces!
When it comes to winter weddings, the weather can be a bit unpredictable. But just because the weather isn’t perfectly sunny and cloudless doesn’t mean the day is any less fun! Embracing the weather and adapting can be an adventure and make for a great story!
