Adrianna and Duncan’s engagement session was SO much fun. It was filled with laughs, sun, and great snow. Although they live in New York City, they previously spent about 3 months living in Utah & Colorado for Adrianna’s job. While working and living out west, they made sure to pack in as much time on the mountain as possible. They wanted to come back out to Colorado for a ski trip, and knew they had to have their engagement session while they were here! I met up with them shortly after sunrise to walk around the adorable town of Frisco and take some more traditional engagement photos. Then we headed to Copper, suited up, and hit the mountain! We got in some great runs, and they even raced each other on Copper's NASTAR course. At the top of the mountain, we stopped for some portraits and I got some very goofy ones which I LOVE. We also incorporated Adrianna’s board into some of the photos, which says “YES” on the bottom - perfect for an engagement! Hanging out with these two was an absolute blast. I love working with such kind and fun people!

Geri and David tied the knot in Park City, Utah! They were surrounded by their families. They had a short and sweet ceremony in a neighborhood park, a special place to both of them. The whole gang then boarded a private shuttle and headed to the mountain!

These two are a testament to adaptability. An incredibly important quality in life, but also when it comes to having a winter wedding! They originally planned to ski the Canyons side of the resort which is their favorite part of the mountain. However, due to a snowstorm and high winds, Canyons was closed and there were limited lifts running on the Park City side. Not to be dismayed, they switched up their plan, and headed to the Park City side to get in a few runs with their families! Everyone rode up the lift and took a run down as a group. Then Geri, David, his father, and his brother braved the main lift line for their next run. It was very windy and it started to hail, but they were absolute champs. They skied a very snowy run down, then reunited with the rest of their family at the base for lunch at a pub. Before departing back home, Geri made sure to do a bouquet toss for all of their nieces!

When it comes to winter weddings, the weather can be a bit unpredictable. But just because the weather isn’t perfectly sunny and cloudless doesn’t mean the day is any less fun! Embracing the weather and adapting can be an adventure and make for a great story!

On a gorgeous blue sky day, Nic proposed to Kirsten while snowboarding at Keystone! These two recently relocated to Colorado from Texas, and have been taking advantage of their new proximity to the mountains. On an assuming Wednesday morning, Nic dropped to his knee at one of the most scenic spots on the mountain and gave Kirsten an absolutely stunning ring. She of course said yes! They spent the rest of the day on their boards, and I captured some shots of them at the top of the world (aka Keystone’s new lift access terrain: Bergman Bowl). I am so excited for these two and loved being able to capture their engagement!

Happy one-year anniversary to Emily + Justin! These two had the most fun day last year at A-Basin. Their friends and family dressed up complete with feather boas, heart-shaped sunglasses, and rhinestone stickers on their faces. They grilled out on A-Basin’s “beach” and took laps with their friends as it snowed!

David and Erica moved to Colorado from the East Coast, and since then they have been taking advantage of all of the awesome resorts the Rockies have to offer. On a long weekend trip to ski Beaver Creek for the first time, David popped the question much to Erica’s surprise! He couldn’t have picked a better day- sunny with awesome snow conditions. After Erica said “yes!”, I captured them as they explored Beaver Creek, skiing greens, blues, and blacks! After a few runs, they freshened up in their hotel and we met up in the village for some apres ski portraits!
