It didn’t start trending in 2020. It didn’t become real when it became federal. And it definitely didn’t need validation to matter.

As a Houston native, Juneteenth has always been Freedom Day. A Texas truth. A reminder that even in freedom, we had to wait… two and a half years for it to reach us.

Let’s be clear:
This isn’t just history. This is our history. So yes, we celebrate.

But we also remember what it took to get here.

Sometimes the smallest props carry the biggest meaning. This tiny BMW X5 model was the sweetest addition to a maternity session for a mama who drives a BMW X7, a playful way to welcome the newest passenger.

It lights up, it makes sounds, and it adds a little magic to the moment. And, it’s also on brand for the family. Oh, and cars that make sounds rarely leave the session if there’s a little boy in the home. 🤭
